One of the best places you can go to if you're visiting or are a local in Santa Cruz.

Henrique (Owner) is always there and ready to offer you his dishes that are made daily. I've been here multiple times and each time, try something new. Out of all the times I've been there, there has not been 1 bad meal. Everything is so light and the customer service here is top-tier.

I would recommend having the Juice of the day, this is always different but Freshly made every single morning. The Prego Special is definitely a Must try!!

If you want to be blown away. Give the Mini Burgers a try. They are worth the price!

Oh, l'amara dolcezza di una serata che prometteva faville e ci ha consegnato... beh, qualcosa di decisamente più dimesso. Se le aspettative fossero state patate al forno, avremmo ricevuto una patatina fritta solitaria, ma almeno quella non era male! Avevamo fantasticato su un tripudio di sapori, un'ode alla cucina vegetariana, un menu così vasto che ci sarebbe servito il binocolo per leggerlo. Le foto online? Un vero e proprio inganno visivo, un canto di sirene culinarie che ci ha attirato in questo luogo. E invece? Siamo arrivate in un deserto di tavoli, con un'atmosfera così silente che si sentiva l'eco delle nostre perplessità. Il menu, poi: una pagina. UNA. Con ben quattro pietanze in croce. Quando abbiamo timidamente chiesto un'opzione vegetariana, la risposta del proprietario è stata: "Prosciutto!" Geniale. Veramente, un guizzo di inventiva che ci ha lasciate senza parole (e senza verdure, inizialmente). Diciamocelo, eravamo sul punto di battere in ritirata strategica, ma c'era qualcosa negli occhi di quel proprietario, un misto di speranza e forse un pizzico di disperazione per la serata deserta, che ci ha strette in una morsa di pietà. Così, con un sospiro rassegnato, siamo rimaste. E alla fine, il cibo? Non era male. Non era l'esperienza gastronomica che ci aspettavamo, ma era commestibile, il che, a quel punto, era già un successo. Ma il vero highlight della serata è stato il proprietario, che ogni cinque minuti ci chiedeva: "Tutto bene? Davvero, eh? Tutto bene?" A forza di sentirlo, abbiamo iniziato a pensare che forse avevamo l'aria di chi stesse soffrendo in silenzio! La ciliegina sulla torta? Il dolcetto offerto alla fine. Un gesto che, pur non cancellando il trauma del "prosciutto vegetariano", ha addolcito il nostro cuore e, ammettiamolo, ci ha fatto pensare: "Beh, almeno ci ha provato." In definitiva, se cercate un'esperienza culinaria con un menu sorprendente e una vasta scelta, forse questo non è il posto giusto. Ma se siete in vena di un'avventura inaspettata, con un proprietario che vi chiede "tutto bene?" finché non lo implorate di smettere, e un dolcetto omaggio, allora accomodatevi pure. Potreste uscirne con una storia divertente da raccontare e un pizzico di tenerezza per l'ostinato (e solitario) anfitrione. Però i dolci sono molto buoni. Approvato per la colazione o...

EAT HERE - the evening menu starts from 7pm - the warm reception from Henrique and his team is second to none. They advise on favourites on the menu. We had complimentary Prosecco and garlic bread - both delicious. The smoked salmon with lime risotto and lime tzatziki was exceptional I’ve never had such succulent smoked salmon fillet. My husband had the chicken breast stuffed with cheese and ham with linguine very tasty. The house wine is very easy to drink as was my husbands beer. Our only regret was that we couldn’t manage a dessert as they had some wonderful options but we were too full. The food is very reasonable for the quality and care that is taken. A massive...
