Stumbled on this place while walking through the shopping district of Setubal. There weren’t very many customers on this Monday night but my wife (who is Portuguese) was enticed by their Bacalao a Bras and me by the polvo (octopus). OMG!!! We had a fabulous meal! The polvo was PERFECT! Crispy in the right spots but at the same time incredibly tender! The potatoes were excellent as well. My wife’s bacalao was also fabulous. Perfectly seasoned and shredded codfish accompanied by shoestring potatoes that were prepared just right. From the moment we walked in, everything about this restaurant exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food—wow!
