My actual rating would be 3.5 stars. This place has potential and I probably will try it again, but first I want to see how other steak places in Setubal compare. The reason I took 1.5 stars off is based on the food preparation.
My wife ordered the shrimp dinner (she isn't a beef eater but went along to appease me). You get 10 good size shrimp but that's it. Just grilled shrimp. Whole. Not cut open and prepared so she had to do a lot of work just to get to the shrimp.
I ordered the Picanha Argentina. I asked for it to be cooked medium. You get 3 small thin pieces of steak. The steak temperature was not warm and it was cooked medium rare. On a positive note, the flavor was excellent and the chimichurri sauce was also very good. I wish the steak was cooked correctly and was hot not cold. The rustic potatoes that come with it are like big chunks of crispy french fries. Very good and addictive when dipped in the garlic sauce.

So you see, it does have potential so I want to go back and see if they can get it right and...
Read moreI am giving a one star on food at this facility because I was served a steak that on the top side was fantastic, but on the bottom side the steak was literally rotting, the meat peeled off like cheese and reeked of putrefaction as I tried to chew it... The meet went back to the kitchen (of course), we were offered more steaks but I could not eat any more after being offered rotting corpses. I am giving 3 stars to the service because one of the waiters was a really nice chap and tried to help us, however, the 1st waiter that served us tried to tell us that rotting meat was normal. And how could the cook not smell that when cooking??...
Read moreThe apearance outside is so simple. It looks like a cheap street food eatery from outside with the plastic chairs and tables. The meet portions are generous though, and cooked well. The prices for the stakes are quite reasonable. Just be carefull when ordering aged stakes. Make sure you can handle the flavor. If you are a casual meet eater, I would reccomend a non-aged option. The service was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was not busy, so I've got a full attention...
