this place doesn't deserve a 5 star. it deserves a 101 star. we ate from here twice and regretted trying another place for the 3rd meal.

service 💯 food 💯 we ordered a seafood macaroni and seafood with razor clams rice. both were exceptional but i loved the seafood macaroni more. my favourite seafood rice/noodle dish the entire trip. I recommend you get the one with crabs because the crabs add so much sweetness to the broth. the choco fritto(fried cuttlefish) were life changing. this is the very first time (and maybe last time 🥲) I willingly ask for more cuttlefish. extremely fresh and tasty. I hate squids and octopus but I loved this. I dont think I can have cuttlefish of this standard anywhere else ever again. the grilled meat was super delicious too and perfect for takeaways.

the place is owned by a Nepalese (family?) who have been in the food business for a long time so they definitely know what they're doing. service was so amazing. if I stayed there I'll become regular customers/friends with them 😅. the seafood dishes require time to cook properly and eat (cuz of the crabs and all) so we were there till past closing (I'm sorry) but they were so nice about it, not hurrying us at all and still asking us to enjoy our dinner. super good attention to details with spot on recommendations of food and drinks.

If you want an authentic Portuguese experience AND amazing food, come here. The menu was a little confusing because it's just in Portuguese, but between the two of us (Spanish and English speaker) we settled on the arroz de marisco and a delicious bottle of wine. It was SO good! It was also SO much food. Lol. My Cuban bf has grown up with rice stews his whole life, but he agreed that this was one of the best he has tasted. The best part though, was the incredibly sweet service. We went for lunch a little late and towards the end of our meal, the staff was sitting down for their "family meal." Both the chef AND the server invited us to join them! It was so kind! Then the next day as we walked by the restaurant, we heard someone calling out. It was the server (possibly owner) who had seen us walk by and came outside to call down the street to say "hi," to us. It was so sweet! You can’t trust Google reviews. If you can, avoid this place. When we arrived, the waiter spent several minutes struggling to open a bottle of wine at another table. Then, 20 minutes after we placed our order, they suddenly remembered that one of the dishes we ordered wasn’t even available. After that, three different staff members came by one after the other just to answer a simple question: what side dish comes with one of the meals (since it wasn’t specified on the menu).
