Restaurante O Douradinho — Restaurant in Setúbal

Great food, great staff, great atmosphere, great prices! I had their day menu, which cost me under 12€ and provided me with way too much food to finish (ideal to share between 2 big eaters!). I took home a tupperware and had plenty left for dinner that evening!

Included was a whole bottle of wine (which I could only half-finish when trying very hard), bread, olives, a main course (the fresh sardines were incredible, and served with potatoes and a salad), a dessert, and a coffee. I appreciated that their potatoes were not in the uncreative form of freezer fries: they were delicious and flavourful! The waitress recommended the doce de casa, which was a very good choice :) The bread was also very good

We're renting a place across the street from this restaurant and noticed it when checking in. We don't speak Portuguese but that didn't really matter. This is the real deal. It's great value and great seafood. There's a variety of fresh fish to choose from. And the mousse was out of this world. Great value for a set meal with fish, salad, bread, olives, wine, dessert, and espresso for about $12. Hope...

Fomos em 3 pessoas para conhecer o estabelecimento, fomos muito bem atendidas pela funcionária na parte de cima, onde sentamos. Quando fomos pagar, verificamos que não havia multibanco nem mbway, pedimos a conta e para pagar separado, como fazemos em todos os estabelecimentos, o senhor dono do restaurante atendeu muito grosseiro, pedi que cobrasse separado e ele disse pra vir sozinha quando quisesse pagar separado e disse pra arranjar moedas que ele não tinha como dar troco . O salão estava cheio, ficamos muito envergonhadas e tristes com esse atendimento, já que foi a primeira vez e agora será também a última que pisamos os pés lá. Depois, nós todas indignadas , ligamos no restaurante para pedir o nome do senhor e a pessoa que atendeu disse que pagamos , então estava resolvido e não ia dar o nome dele e desligou o telefone. Sendo assim, fica aqui nossa indignação pelo atendimento prestado pelo dono do estabelecimento, sendo que deveria dar o exemplo de um bom atendimento, sendo ele o dono. Espero que a grosseria dele não seja também com os funcionários, pois seria muito triste trabalhar com um ser...
