Cosy wine and tapas restaurant down a small alleyway in Silves, not too far from the Cathedral. It's in a lovely setting with lots of cats. It's run by a couple from the U.K. The menu has a choice of drinks, and for food they serve tapas platters (€15 for 1, €20 for 2, €30 for 3, €40 for 4). The sangria was delicious! The tapas for 2 included a platter of cold meats and cheeses - we were a bit disappointed as some of the meat, and a lot of the cheese was dry and tasteless. The salad, olives, couscous salad and pasta salad were nice. Overall, found it a bit pricy for the quantity and quality. They don't accept card, but do accept PayPal transfers.

We love discovering hidden gems in new cities, and this restaurant exceeded our expectations! Nestled on a quaint cobblestone street near the Cathedral, it exudes charm, warmth, and character. The cozy interior features large sofas, tables, and chairs that make guests feel right at home. For lunch, we opted for the Tapas for Two and paired it with homemade lemonade (and, naturally, my essential coffee). The portions were generous, the flavors delightful, and the experience was enhanced by the stunning view of the city. It’s a place we’d happily revisit and recommend to anyone looking for great food and a memorable atmosphere!

Stumbled across this place late last Sunday afternoon and were very lucky to get the last table. With just the two owners working and every table full, it took a little while to get our drinks and food but isn’t that to be expected? And with that view it didn’t feel like a problem to us. The menu was simple (tapas for xx people) but perfect. We enjoyed every last bit (and extra bread as evidenced in the pic 😁) and when they had time the two owners were so friendly. If we return to Silves we’re definitely booking a table in advance

Found by accident interesting looking so stopped for coffee. Never again visit spoilt by the most miserable englishman in Portugal ( the owner ). This individual needs to go on a customer relations course he is totally devoid of communication skills or the need for customer service. Can only assume the food must be amazing to make up for this. My recommendation would be take a look and walk on to where you are appreciated

In response to the " owner " There is absolutely no question of me reviewing the wrong place If you check your own reviews it mentions the owners Kerry and Paul ? so I assume Paul is whom this review is addressed to. I give feedback as we were totally dissatisfied with the service you should perhaps own it and make improvements rather than attempt...

Popped into this delightful place for lunch today. Been here before just for drinks but not had the food before.Décor is very tasteful, views fantastic from the small patio at the rear, ambience is relaxed and chilled. Tapas plater consisted of quality cold meats, cheeses, breads and olives served with delicious homemade tuna dip, warm chickpea salad and breads. All lovingly prepared by the beautiful Kerry, who Is so chatty, friendly and funny, and served by the lovely Carlos. Unfortunately we had chores to do so couldn't stay long. The welcome and ovetall experience made us want to stay all day! We'll definately be back with friends. Cannot recommend it highly enough! One Not To miss when...
