Arco Pub — Restaurant in Tomar

We've been to Arco a few times, each time we had a good experience. Yesterday we had dinner at the pub, it was great! Excellent hamburger, the best that I've had in a long time. The burger was perfectly cooked to medium, as requested, and my choice was served with caramelized onions and mushrooms. The bun is the 'coco' bread, a recipe from Madeira, not at all related to coconuts though. It's kind of like a denser English muffin bread. The hamburger was served with fresh-cut fries, home made garlic mayonnaise and ketchup on the side. No time to take photos of the food as we were starving and didn't think of it!

We will definitely go back for burgers, hands down the best...

This place is down a side street, and you would walk right past it if you didn't know it was there. We were so lucky to find it. It is a small pub with a pool table and outdoor area. The food is lovely. We had the Veal burger, fried steak, and Pica Pau. The steak was a little fatty for my liking, but it tasted gorgeous as it was covered in garlic butter. I would highly recommend the Pica Pau, a traditional Portuguese dish. We will definitely be coming back here next time we...

Lovely outdoor seating/garden The music playing inside was great but way too loud. Nice dim lighting. Good service from the very energetic and friendly owner.
