Service : 5/5 , the servers were friendly and fast, you don't interact a lot with the servers because you order through a tablet but they were friendly and worked quickly ;
Food : 3/5 ,
The tuna had a really strong flavour , I don't know if it was fresh or not but the sashimi pieces were coming apart and the flavour was overpowering .
The salmon had this defrost flavour (sashimi again) which I didn't appreciate much , though the soy sauce helped here .
The sushi rice was alright, I noticed on some pieces it was too sticky and on others it fell apart , I know they probably make batches and they can't all come out perfectly but it was disappointing in that sense;
Fried food was ok, the first ones came cold but the rest came hot and were ok .
Chinese dishes were good 👍
Atmosphere : 5/5 , calm , not noisy, dimmed lights , I enjoyed it .
Overall, room for improvement on the sushi pieces , the servings of fish were good but the quality was lacking and the rice definitely needs an improvement . Tuna needs to be looked at if it's like that everyday .
Paid 55€ for 2 , soft drinks are 3€ per drink and coffee was 1.80€ , way overpriced on these things but understandable of all you can eat places .
I won't be coming back soon as other places are a lot cheaper with higher...
Read morePlease be aware after eating here I got food poisoning and ruined 3 days of my trip. I decided to check this place out because it had a nice view and that was the worse decision I could have ever did. Once arriving I put my name on the list. Took about 1hr 45 mins to get called and seated. You order from a tablet you don’t get a waiter. Once placing some appetizer order and it comes the food runner says I have 5 mins to order before kitchen closes. I told him I just got seated and barely ordered anything. He tells me to put in my order quick in tablet. I try to put my order in but the Tablet turns itself off. I go talk to the host and tell him I didn’t get to order so they take it by hand and then the food comes. I should have took it as a sign to leave but food comes and doesn’t taste that great. I felt absolutely miserable the next couple days to the point the hotel suggesting I go to the hospital. They advised me I should have asked them recommendations before I went to this place because it was new and they definitely did not handle the food properly. Eat here at your...
Read moreSushi restaurant located at Cais de Gaia, perfectly situated with an exceptional view over Porto’s Ribeira — a scene that must be even more enchanting at night.
It was the place we chose for a lunch for two, following a friend’s recommendation, and it certainly lived up to expectations. As an all-you-can-eat sushi spot, it offers a wide variety of starters and sushi pieces, as well as dessert options and a good selection of drinks.
The price is slightly above average for lunch, but considering it was a Saturday and given the restaurant’s prime location, it’s entirely understandable.
Overall, the sushi is of very good quality, though in our opinion, the fried pieces were the weakest part of the experience. Still, I highly recommend this restaurant — especially for a date. The Cheviche, Salmon Tartare, and Gunkans deserve a special mention — simply divine!
If possible, I suggest visiting for dinner, to fully enjoy the breathtaking view over Porto, which makes the whole experience even...
