Another restaurant that I really wanted to like but our experience was mediocre at best. The prices are too high for what you get, the presentation is nice and portions are very small, so before tasting you have high expectations but unfortunately the taste is underwhelming. We had the watermelon soup, the ravioli, the seared tuna and the fish açorda. In my opinion, the only one that was tasty was the seared tuna. The fish açorda was the worst I've ever had. The fish was OK (again the portion was very small), and the açorda part was very tasteless. The best part of the dinner was the grilled peach dessert which was a good light summer dessert. I am giving 4 stars thanks to our server Nuno, who was the only one serving many tables for quite some time until another server came to help. He was very friendly and tried his best to make conversation although he was very busy. I also liked the interior design. Where I was sitting, all the seat cushions for the 3 tables had huge bread crumbs on them which is surprising to see at a restaurant like this. If you sit by the window (we did not), you have a nice view and you also have the same view from the rooftop bar that Nuno has recommended us to check before leaving. As a guest at the hotel, it might be a good option for the convenience but for those who live in Porto, I'd have a hard time recommending it for dinner.

Amazing dinner. Perfect for an intimate date or a special occasion with close friends and family. The food was delicious and very well presented - it is evident the head chef has plenty of experience in upscale dining. The suckling pig was our favorite of the night, but the beef tartare and cockle polenta were also very tasty. The chef even served us a complementary arancini starter. We didn't have to wait long for the dishes to arrive to the table and everything went smoothly. Service from Nuno was friendly and professional, with advice given on food options as well as offering to serve us a wider variety of cocktails from the rooftop bar. We will certainly be back when we visit Porto again.

Amazing food! Traditional Portuguese food with a modern twist! We had the duck rice- delicious and I highly recommend! We also tried the breaded shrimp which were recommended buy customers at a nearby table and raved about them. And we also had another dish whose name I can’t remember that had fish in a little pot either rice and soaked bread- all dishes heightened outrage tastebuds and left us completely satisfied. The server was attentive and helped inform our selections- perfect meal- we will be back for sure.
