If I could give a negative rating, I absolutely would. This was the most terrible hotel experience I’ve ever had. The service was absolutely pathetic, and nowhere was it mentioned that no staff would be available after 9 PM. After that time, the entire building was completely empty, no one at the reception, no one for assistance, nothing.

At 11 PM, the AC stopped working, and there was nobody to help us out. The so-called “emergency numbers” provided by the hotel were useless - not a single call was answered. It was unbearably hot, and we had to somehow manage through the night without any support.

The locality is not safe or pleasant, and with no staff and no security, it felt extremely unsafe to stay there. This was by far the worst experience ever, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

If you are a solo traveller or a female traveller, please avoid this place at all costs. They have no amenities, no staff after hours, no proper communication, no security, and when we raised our concerns, there was no help, no resolution, and not even a refund for the horrible stay.

Do not trust this hotel. Do not book it on any platform. It’s a...

This was supposed to be our second stay at this hotel. The first time it was great - clean (with nice products from Benamor a local business), good location and service. But they changed ownership and things went downhill. We arrived at 11 had lunch and returned at 3 for check in but the room was still not ready. We changed in the bathroom upstairs and waited a little longer. The room was ready at 3:40. We went out and when we returned our room was very hot (massive heatwave in Porto). We tried the AC and nothing, went downstairs and they reset many times with no luck. I asked for another room - nothing available. I asked for another hotel - she said nothing available. After an hour trying to tell her to talk to the manager my husband went downstairs impatient and finally they said they could put us in another apartment. We packed and drove to the new place just to suffer again - one of the rooms had not been serviced and we had to sleep there. Stay away. Stay away. We called and nothing was done. Where is the manager to try to solve the problem? Aspasios apartment...

Wow, what a great little place, just off the main areas.||This is only a small hotel with 18 rooms, but it is really well designed and decorated. The hotel is very fresh and the room was akin to an apartment you would happily live on. It was light, airy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was good, although we only really used the fridge and the Nespresso machine. Bathroom was large with a crazy sink and walk in shower and the bedroom was large with a comfy double bead and nice headboard.||The hotel also has a nice small area rooftop sun terrace and pool for those relaxing hours before your evening meal after a long day's walking and Port drinking.||There is a restaurant attached which also does breakfast, but we didn't use it, however it was always busy so I'd assume it's as good as the rest of the hotel.||We got excellent recommendations of things to do from the multilingual receptionists which were really helpful too.||If we come back to Porto, it's a no brainer we'd come back to...

Situated right on the front, a short walk from the centre, this hotel is nicely situated to get to anywhere - even the historic tram stop is right nearby. Rooms are clean and well serviced, ours had a snack kitchen with plenty of equipment, and a coffee machine (kettle would have been nice, but we made do). Ours was at the back, so had no real windows, certainly nothing you could see out of, making it feel a bit like a cave, not necessarily in a bad way, but bear that in mind if not selecting a view room specially. We did not spend much time in the room so did not bother us. Rooftop pool has great views, there is a small bar for drinks open part of the day, however the pool is very cold! We were so busy out most days that we didn't get chance to use more than a couple of times, but a great place to relax. Overall really enjoyed our stay here Staff very friendly and happy to help.

This hotel is just beautiful, with many thoughtful decorating choices. The breakfast was truly a treat we looked forward to each morning. Our room is fantastic, very clean with lots of room and a stunning view of the river. What makes this place special is the kind and thoughtful staff. We received a handwritten letter and port wine welcoming us. Each day the staff greets us, gives us recommendations and genuinely seems to care about their clients. It was easy to walk into the town center or really anywhere in Porto from here. It’s also on the main tourist tram’s line (no.1). There are many nice restaurants including the hotel itself that are close by. We had a delicious meal at the Taberna dos Carris which is very close to the hotel.

We got bitten by the bed bugs here. The manager seems to not really understands the situation. They didn’t take proper action as they didn’t even know what the bed bug is! My wife has a strong alergic reaction, has to take strong meds and take 2 weeks off from work. Now she has scars from the bittings. We got refund for one night only and then we stopped getting responses from the hotel. So we ended up with a terrible experience and spend a lot more to cover things up. If this happened in my country, I would take legał action and sue the hotel. And on top of that - that was last days of our honeymoon trip.
