Moby's Bar — Restaurant in Vila Real de Santo António

My partner and I were in Monte Gordo two weeks ago, obviously a very quiet time due to the pandemic. We found Moby's Bar after a Google search and it was a five minute walk from our hotel. Moby's Bar couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming to us. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to serve. We had a lovely steak dinner and chicken salad one night, this had to be preordered due to pandemic circumstances, but we were so grateful as it felt like they really made an effort, which they didn't have to do. My partner has some allergies regarding food which can be quite complicated at some places, but Moby's took the time to work out exactly what she could have. Both our meals were delicious. The bar is very popular for Sunday Lunch but booking is vital because good news travels.

From my experience you buy a snack at other bars but a Moby's you receive a meal.( You can buy snacks )

Moby's Bar is tucked away, just off the sea front, which is Ideal in the heat of the midday sun. The owner, Toni serves a mix of food, all cooked fresh and delicious to taste. She will cater for vegetarians and celiacs and with notice, will get in any food you require.

As we were new to the area, Toni also had a great deal of local knowledge and pointed us in the direction of a number of local sites.
