It is my first time ever coming to this resturant,as i heard a lot of good comments about it. The main door is looked like a closed door with no guidance towards the entrance which can make you get lost sometimes!
When i came in one of the employees was guiding us towards a table (Mr.Hamza) where another staff member came in and crossed our talk and both then gave us their backs in a sudden with a huge ignorance to our small conversation and we were left without guidance to a table! I then had to go from entrance to any table and got very poor service to be honest in general in terms of having someone to welcome us or even say hi or asked if we are ready to order !
My friend and i were both shocked and never expected such welcoming and such rude and poor attitude from the Staffs Mr Riadh and the other staff members along with these two! Even the lady on the door had a flat face ,not truly welcoming or even smiling! Looked bored and not much interested in the hospitality of the customers.
Food was good and resonable , i did not have the proper Qatari vibe in general in terms of the taste i felt something is missing but don’t know what, the flavor and taste wasn’t of a true Qatari/GCC taste in general.
The tables were fine and clean overall but the atmosphere and lighting were boring and quite dark to be honest! Chairs are not comfortable and the place is dark! We both agreed on this my friend and i
We asked Mr Hamza if there is any available table in private he said “ You have to pay ** Riyals” in an embaresing cheap way although the resturant was empty , they will do NO EXCEPTIONS at all.
I was expecting better welcoming and service overall as the resturant was quite empty and only total of 3-4 tables are there with staff members more than 10!
Not well distribution of staff,no one was around our table almost all of the time and we were being ignored and disliked i felt! Especially after i told Mr Riad about the disrepectdul attitude we face in the beginning, he apologized ,how ever “ Sorry” is never enough, you are representing a huge place and hospitality standards should always be present at all times! Overall experience is poor to be honest Not worth the stay much.

We recently visited this restaurant and it turned out to be an exceptional dining experience that deserves every bit of praise. From the moment we stepped in, Ms. Kristel welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism that set a wonderful tone for the evening. Not only did she provide excellent service, but she also took the time to show us around the building, adding a personal touch to our visit that we greatly appreciated. The food was nothing short of amazing. Each dish we ordered was prepared to perfection, with flavors that danced on the palate and left us craving more. The menu selection was impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences. But what truly set this place apart was the service. Ms. Kristel and the team went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was memorable. Their attention to detail, from the presentation of the food to the timing of each course, was impeccable. It's rare to find a place that excels in both food quality and service, making this restaurant a true gem.We left feeling thoroughly satisfied and with fond memories of our visit. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience. Whether it's the delicious food, the beautiful setting, or the exceptional service, this place has it all. Thank you, Ms. Kristel and the entire team, for making our evening so special. We can't...
Read moreFeeh Al’Aafia is a Qatari restaurant I recommend everyone to try in Katara. Really lovely interior with old yet modern design. The menu has a lot of items so it was nice to share and try a few dishes.
Started off with the Green Salad that came with a green chutney sauce, tangy and delicious. For the main courses, my favorite dish was the Arabic Meat Mandi, fork tender lamb rich with flavor served with flavorful Mandi rice. Also got the Chicken Mashkhoul, chicken was beautifully cooked and the rice was nice with some potatoes and fried onions. Lastly we got the Chicken Machboos, the chicken was nice but the rice was unfortunately a bit flavorless compared to the other two dishes.
For desserts we got the Sago and Aseeda, they were nicely made but a bit too sweet for me.
