Drako Kuhnia Balkanica — Restaurant in Bucharest

Even though the menu looked interesting and the place had some nice reviews, I wasn't impressed. I was there with to kids, and we were hungry, cause we were walking for some time around to find a place to eat, and beacuse of Covid everything around was closed. We sat inside since there was nothing available outside, but beacuse it starts pouring down, everyone outside came in. These people kind of ruined the atmosphere since they were really loud and noisy. Anyway, the biggest problem was that it took 1 hour and 35 minutes for the food to come. They apologized for that, that's fair enough, but I don't understand why it took so long, cause we didn't ordered anything out of the ordinary. We ate everything cause we were really hungry, but had I known that it would take so long to get the food, I would probably chose...

Quite short menu and not necessarily with a lot of balcanic specialties. We ordered the fish meatballs and the pork chop (but we got the ribs instead). The fish dish was tasteless and very dry (should be served with a salad on the side). The ribs were ok . Large portions. Very limited alcohol options. A few beers (nothing special) and wine only by the bottle. The terrace is pleasant, but be ware of the mosquitos during summer. Service was ok. Card payment...

This is our 2nd time here,and it definately did not disappoint. Even if the menu changed a bit since last time, they kept the great quality. The portions are generous and fairly priced, the staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed every time. For wine lovers, the walls are plastered with different kinds, your choice. Very nice place will return whenever...
