The good : Been eating at Vivo for years, and they've managed to be consistent with the quality of their burgers. I keep trying various burgers at different events but they rarely get close. In an over flooded market with average burgers, when I want a good burger I get back to Vivo. And that scores it 4 stars in my books.
The "heading towards mediocrity": On the bad side, they haven't evolved in every direction ever since they've open. They've launched a new burger "spicy fried chicken burger" a while back and it was one of the worse burgers I've had. A simple boneless chicken leg stuffed with slices of jalapenos that I'd strongly recommend you to stay away from.
Ate the Fancy salad in early February 2024 in Tineretului location and the crispy prosciutto was actually just dry and very chewy that simply ruined the dish cause that's one of its key selling points.
In the same location, despite the clear sign of no smoking, including electronic cigarettes, some nearby people were smoking electronic cigarettes and the smoke from 2-3 people was just as bad. Addressing the matter to the waitress, she said that some of the electronic cigarettes are allowed. So genuinely, one of the worse experience I had with Vivo and I hope it won't repeat again.
Still, that doesn't take away their merits and they're the solid choice to go for when you want a good burger.
For the owners, if you do read the reviews, consider adding "baby burgers" in the menu with baby fries, for the kids. Its the one change in the menu that you wouldn't...

We were invited to dine there again, got the same waitress the 3rd time and, indeed, there were some clear improvements in her attitude, so I'm changing my service rating to a wary 4*. Hopefully the improvements stick. PS: The new(ish) spicy thai burger was absolutely amazing! It's unlike any burger I had before, definitely worth a try!
NB: For the sake of transparency I will mention that we were offered a free meal as well as an apology which was a nice touch. I was not asked to edit my review, it was my own choice to do so because I liked how the situation was handled.
Original review (3*): I've been enjoying Vivo's burgers pretty much ever since they first opened in Iasi, which is why it pains me to have to give this rating. The food was great, as usual (although last time my cheeseburger was a little salty - just a one off, I hope). The service is quick and the decor is nice. However, the waitress who served us both times we were at this location has a godawful attitude. The interaction with her really stained the whole experience and almost made us walk out the first time, we only stayed cause we were famished. The second time wasn't much better, but we already knew not to expect much from her in terms of customer service. The rest of the staff were...
Read moreThe burger was mediocre, far below expectations for such a well-established and praised burger chain. While the patty was juicy, it lacked flavor, the sauce was overpowering (masking any other taste), and the bun was a disasterâdry, tough, and overly large compared to the amount of filling, making it feel like youâre eating mostly bread.
On the positive side, the parmesan and garlic fries were absolutely deliciousâprobably the best fries Iâve had at a restaurant in years. The draft beer was also excellent. The staff was extremely kind, smiling, and friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The location was spotless.
Unfortunately, I could only give it 3 stars because of the burger, which was an absolute disappointment and should have been the star of the menu. Iâll definitely return for the parmesan and garlic fries, but I wonât be spending money on the burger againâvery disappointing quality...
