I recently visited La Nenea Iancu restaurant with mixed expectations, as the initial impressions and online pictures didn't seem too impressive. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at this restaurant.

Best carnati I have ever eaten until now.

The price is a bit expensive IMO, for ex: 6lei for 3 pieces of kaiser and 20lei for 2 little bottle of Sprite are a lot. Nevertheless, it didn't mean they deserved less than 5 stars, the main course truly worth it. I had a platou and we finished til the last bite. I felt like I was in the countryside eating his parents home-cooked food again. Too bad I couldn't drink the beer but the beverage menu does seem attractive.

Păcat de frumosul edificiu și de șura rustică. Ospătărițele, deși foarte amabile, ne-au lăsat să așteptăm mai mult de o oră, până ne-au adus o porție de șnitzel de pui, un cașcaval pané și o porție de salată de vinete (pe asta din urmă n-o recomand) Am observat la intrare, un anunț în care se spune că "restaurantul își rezervă dreptul de-ași alege clienții". După experiența, nu foarte agreabilă, am înțeles că de clienții ocazionali, stabilimentul nu e foarte interesat să se ocupe... Asta e concluzia pe care am tras-o, când doi clienți care au sosit la cca. 10 minute după noi, au fost serviți înaintea noastră, reușind să mănânce, să plătească, și să părăsească restaurantul, înainte ca noi să fim serviți. De fapt, nouă ne-a fost servită comanda la vreo 15 minute, după ce cei doi clienți, părăsiseră restaurantul...(!) Surpriza a fost însă, când aperitivul (salata execrabilă de vinete) ne-a fost servită în același timp cu felul principal... Bucătarul e amețit și (probabil) incompetent, ținând cont de gustul și textura deloc agreabile ale pastei dubioase de vinete, iar cele două ospătărițe, pur și simplu neglijente, au uitat (probabil) să plaseze comanda la bucătărie, pentru clienții "fără abonament", care...n-au dreptul să fie serviți înaintea obișnuiților cârciumioarei cochete...(?) Îmi pare rău pentru ele, că am achitat doar suma înscrisă pe bonul fiscal, fără cel mai mic bacșiș, noi, considerând că pentru serviciul submediocru, bacșișul nu era meritat. Păcat ! Aprecierile de patru și cinci stele, sunt ori făcute de personalul restaurantului, ori de oameni foarte norocoși care au nimerit aiurea in acest local. Noi, intrând prima oară în acest stabiliment, am avut o experiență de neuitat, în sensul că ne vom aduce mereu aminte că deși aspectul exterior e destul de atrăgător, e un...
