Firstly this is not a 4* hotel. This is probably a 2 or 3 at a push. I booked this for 7 nights through Expedia for a executive double with city view (if you’re going to book this hotel, book though them as you’re protected.||First day I checked in to the hotel, thought it was weird that our room was on the 5th floor, strange for a city view. I get up to the room and the key doesn’t work for the room. Back down the lift and already 3 people waiting with the same issue. Get back up to my room again, enter and looks like something from the early 2000s, marked walls and furniture. Also this is a standard room with no bath unlike the booking suggested. Went back downstairs and the receptionist said this was a executive room. Yeah ok, thought I’d let it slide and just make the most it it. Went out through the day, came back and thought I’d see what the restaurant was like. Restaurant was open from 7-10pm. Half 8 and it was closed, In fact, this wasn’t even open the whole evening. Asked for some water and they couldn’t give me it. Used the water in the mini fridge.||Day 2 key didn’t work again, mini fridge wasn’t re stocked and bar and restaurant shut again. No water supplied, already eaten out so didn’t need the food.||Day 3 key didn’t work again, mini fridge wasn’t restocked, just to add, air con is also absolutely crap. Restaurant was open but not for food, got some nice wine. Had already got water today from the shop so didn’t need that.||Day 4 key didn’t work again, mini fridge hasn’t restocked again, after a long day out, walking 12 miles in total around, all I needed was a nice glass of wine and some water. RESTAURANT CLOSED! they wouldn’t even get us a glass of water or fill up the damn mini fridge.||This was it, I contacted expedia and explained the situation, they spoke to reception once and were advised to call back Monday, called again and was told they couldn’t supply us with our room as the floor was taken for a party. They basically downgraded us to make room for a party and didn’t think to tell us, rather just lie. 3 days left so left the hotel and went to the crown plaza, a real 4* hotel. I sit here with a glass of wine writing this review,l. Hotel is not very well ran, it’s on its way out, please don’t stay here unless you’re happy with a bed and breakfast with a crappy night sleep||Avoid like the plague.||Ps before I leave breakfast was reliable, basic as anything but it was...

The heating although reported to the reception remained unsolved until the morning when I complained again and they sent someone, that person told me that the heaters were off… I left with headaches and a cold. Very slow and badly managed elevators, you can even wait 30 minutes for the elevator… 5.In the room that looks like a tomb, with wood everywhere , the wallpaper was coming down from the wall and the design of the room was just awful, did not feel welcoming at all. The atttitude of the employees of the hotel is just nasty towards their clients, they were blaming me for not calling to report the heather problem again… when I did 2 times. The lady manager doesn’t know how to listen to her guests either because she doesn’t care or that is their policy there, to shift blame and not offer any good word, explanation or a gesture to keep your customers, just “we are sorry, it’s your fault, we are sorry to see you leave”.( well I hope you will be sorry to see me NOT spending my money in your “hotel” again). The hotel looks communist, last renovation probably before the 2008 crysis and nobody invested anything since then. Bad management and evil owners, the cost for a room is arround 300-400 euro per night… unbelievable for it to still have 4 stars in these conditions. The food selection although they have 3 restaurants, only 2 were open, the food is below average and it’s not one of a 4 star hotel and the staff seem like they were forced to be there. The room did not have a complementary bottle of still water. The shower was broken in so many parts and pouring water everywhere badly as in the photos. And although I pressed the button to just use the shower head, water was still falling from the shower above… like a nightmare..
Will never return again. Awful place overall! No nice people work...
Read morenew hotel, but with a low-cost feel. The room was modern and spacious, yet the amenities were below 4-star standards. In the bathroom, the shower gel, shampoo, and soap were single-use and only provided for one person, even though we had a double room. The hairdryer was very basic, almost just for show. At the bidet, they had placed a mesh screen (clearly, whoever put it there didn’t know what it’s meant for). The bathroom lighting was also very poor.
Breakfast was very varied, offering everything from cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, cold cuts, and cheeses to hot dishes such as boiled eggs, omelets, sausages, frankfurters, bacon, and even… French fries. There were two espresso machines, which was great, but the only downside was the milk—not fresh, just UHT, which unfortunately spoils the good taste of the coffee.Breakfast was very varied, offering everything from cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, cold cuts, and cheeses to hot dishes such as boiled eggs, omelets, sausages, frankfurters, bacon, and even… French fries. The hotel has a fairly large private parking lot and, much to our delight (though only briefly), it also had an electric charger. When we asked if we could charge the car, the answer was yes, upon request, but we had to notify reception so they could unlock the charger with a key. We agreed, but the key could no longer be found, and the receptionist apologized, explaining that “the boss charged his car earlier and may have taken the key with him.” So, the charger is basically reserved for the bosses and only exists “for show” when it...
