Maccheroni Bistro — Restaurant in Bucharest

Overpriced mediocre food. I ordered fish, they piled up 5 sardines in the smallest plate that they had without any plate for bones. The focaccia was one of the worst I ate, very dry, it almost seemed old. The only decent dish was the burrata, something that’s bought, not cooked in house. That tells a lot about a restaurant. The cherry on top was when they put the tap water on the bill… 15 ron for one litre of water from the tap. I asked them if it was tap and they said yes with a smile on their face. A lovely unique and authentic place, where my heart resonate almost to perfection with the vibe, a place where i felt in love with mussels and with my girlfriend for the second time, a place where one of my best friend opened his heart, telling me some beautiful, powerful and profound memories, a place where time stops and you feel and breathe everything around you. Am ajuns la restaurant dupa multe recomandari pozitive primite. Voi explica cum am dat ratingurile: Mancare 3* cu indulgenta. Am comandat chiftele de dovlecei cu sos tzatziki. Au fost gustoase, nimic de reprosat. Apoi am comandat paste carbonara care au fost cu mult sub asteptari. Pastele erau pline de branza, lipite intre ele, pe langa paste erau si multe guguloaie de branza topita- ca un fel de cascaval sau mozzarella.

Servire 2* Cand a venit nota, am intrebat daca cumva pastele au fost facute dupa o reteta reinterpretată. Raspunsul fiind nu, atunci am mentionat ce nu mi s-a parut ok. Ospatarul a primit acest feedback dar a mentionat ca trebuia sa il chem. Ok si daca esti introvertit si non conflictual, poate nu te simti in largul tau sa faci asta. Totusi daca esti intrebat daca totul e ok cu mancarea pe parcurs, ar fi fost altceva, iti aratau un comportament profesionist si ca le pasa. Dar nu s-a deranjat sa faca acest efort. Ii mentionez ca doresc sa las tips 10% si imi spune totalul fara sa imi arate nota si zic ok fara sa mai stau sa calculez. Apoi ma uit pe nota si vad ca de fapt aici tips-ul incepe de la 13%. Foarte frumos, dupa ce ca e mancarea de proasta calitate ti se mai si baga mana in buzunar ptr tips. Daca ar fi intrebat 13% e ok cu dvs, as fi zis nu. Ca sa nu mai zic ca in restaurante care se respecta si respecta clientii, acest produs ar fi fost scos de pe nota si nu ai fi primit scuza ca poate s-a grabit bucatarul si nu a avut grija sa se omogenizeze sosul cu parmezanul. Si ca pe viitor sa spui ca mancarea nu e ok si iti fac alta.
