Cucinetta — Restaurant in Bucharest

I've heard about Cucinetta's wonderful food for a while now, but never had the chance to taste it until today - and what a glorious day. We had lasagna and shrimp tagliatelle, and both were just amazing. Staff is super friendly, going the extra mile to explain what's on the menu, and help you choose from a list of delicious dishes. Cucinetta's a new entry directly into my top 3 Italian restaurants from Bucharest. We were so full so we took the dessert (limoncello tiramisu) to go, but compared to the food, this one was quite basic - didn't sense...

This is the type of place where you don't regret experimenting and old school recipes are done properly with the right ingredients. Best part is that they offer good recommendations and the service is truly top tier. The wine of the house does the trick, and the food just tastes really good. I tried the pasta with pear (forgot the name) and it was a delight as my taste buds were not expecting that combination outcome. Definately a place for foodies in Bucharest for the gourmet level cooking it is perfect. Price wise it can range from mid range prices to higher tier prices quite easily but like I said gourmet...

We came across this restaurant by mistake after we had been turned away from Pescaria Dorobanților because they didn't accept card payments. That was lucky. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. At the arrival were greeted by a lovely lady and showed to a table. The restaurant is tiny, featuring a minimalist decor and outdoor seating area. Our waiter was excellent :friendly, knowledgeable and funny. Food was splendid. It was fresh and tasted delicious. Everything was freshly prepared in front of us. Ou table overlooked the kitchen.
