IDA Spa Dorobanti — Local services in Bucharest

The atmosphere there is really nice but they make promises that they can t keep. I went here for a few massages and facial treatments. After the facial, I was promised by the women that performed the procedure an email with a few details about my skin type, product recommandation etc. I did not receive it. When i came back a few weeks later at Ida spa for another massage, i reminded the front desk officer about the email and he promised that i will receive it asap. A few months later, i still did not.

Because i still liked the overall feeling that ida spa dorobanti gave me, i wanted to try mani/pedi here. When I arrived at the appointment, the manicurist told me that it was her first day and even though she was nice and really did her best, my pedicure was looking pretty bad. I talked to the guy at front desk and showed him the final result of mani pedi.After seeing it, he said that he will make me another free appointment to their more experienced manicurist. After the second pedicure, even though they said it will be free, I paid full price. I don t mind paying for a correct service but they should not make promises that they can t keep.. They seem not to care about their client's feedback..

The massages are great, though. Even so, I have mixed feeling coming...

Surprised my girlfriend with a gift card to Ida spa after reading good reviews and checking the treatments on their website. Decided on a few treatments totalling approximately 800-900 Ron. Gift card arrived in a nicely wrapped scented box, my girlfriend was very excited to get her treatments. First treatment they told her they couldn't do because it would irritate her skin, so they offered a different one, that's fine. The foot reflexology was as advertised and was good. The deep cleaning facial not so much, it was supposed to include arm and hand massage but was not done. Only for the second deep cleanse facial was there a slight arm massage which left her wondering why should she have to tell the employee what is supposed to be included in a supposedly high end spa? The other service advertised on the site cranial sacral massage was no longer even offered at the spa so was replaced yet again with some lazy attempt at another advertised service. Sadly, I can't reccomend Ida spa at all. Huge...

I have truly enjoyed the experience. I went in Juanuary, the ambiance was perfect, very cosy, warm, the background sounds very enjoyable. The rooms were nice and clean and both the receptionist and the masseuse were very kind. I like their reservation app and the reservation was handled timely. I appreciated being asked what I liked and if I felt good. I had an Intensive Muscle Release Massage that I asked to be focused on the my back and hardcore. I got exactly what I wanted. Although the full body was well massaged, my back certainly had the best massage ever. I had it really stiff and it hurt before, and it felt like new afterwards. The entire senzorial experience is nice, the bed is warm and comfortable, the dry/wet towels as well, they use good stuff and there is no outside noise so you get immersed in the moment.
