The food was delicious, and the service was nice. However, I was disappointed by the staff’s response regarding indoor smoking. Despite a clear “No Smoking” sign, we were told that vaping indoors is allowed in Romania, which is simply not true.

I understand that a larger group might be more beneficial for business than a couple like us, but that doesn’t mean the rules should be ignored. It would be better to be honest rather than generalizing and misleading guests. Other than that, we enjoyed our meal.

Thank you for your response! However, I would like to clarify that according to Law No. 349/2002 on preventing and combating the effects of tobacco use in Romania, smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is prohibited in enclosed public spaces.

As per Article 3 of this law, “smoking” includes both traditional cigarettes and electronic devices used for heating tobacco or vaporizing substances.

Therefore, your statement that electronic cigarettes are “allowed everywhere” is unfortunately incorrect according to the legislation. It would be great if the establishment adhered to the legal requirements and ensured a comfortable environment for all...

A little away from the tourist hustle, we found this cozy space with a small but very interesting menu. We found a place for five in the outside courtyard. It did not take long to go five times for the slow-cooked pork ribs, and we did not regret that choice. They were delicious, the meat fell off the bone, they were very well glazed with a delicious marinade. As a side dish, we chose a serving of hummus, which was just as good as the ribs. We learned a lot about local liquor production and had the pleasure of trying some from the "under the table" supply. The owner made us feel like friends, and we enjoyed our chat a lot. As dessert, we chose papanasi, the best we had on our tour through Transylvania. So if you stay in Bucharest, you will not regret visiting this place.
