National Theatre Bucharest also known as TNB is the most important and notorious theatre in Bucharest. It was built in 1973 and has a beautiful architecture. The modern construction holds many important events and plays. The best actors perform on the scene and put a lot of effort to satisfy the public. I went to the play called "Padurea Spanzuratilor" and i was surprised by how beautiful it was. The special effects, the music and the props used were amazing and I would like to see another play soon. Also the interior is very elegant and impressive. There is a very interesting sculpture in front of the building which represents characters from different plays. Overall I really enjoyed my time there and I would like to visit it again. It's a very representative building in Bucharest!

We had an amazing time doing the behind-the-scenes tour at Teatrul Național it totally exceeded our expectations! We got to explore all the different stages, including one on the rooftop with incredible city views. It was so cool to walk through the green rooms, changing areas, and even take a ride in an old, still working Austrian elevator. What made it extra special was that the tour takes place while the theatre is actually in use people are working, rehearsing, moving sets so you get a genuine look at how things operate backstage. Also, huge thanks to our guide, Ionuț he was incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel personal and fun.

Bucharest National Theatre is a great place for various shows including Shakespeare classics, musicals, ballet and international theatre festivals. It has a number of halls, suited for different kind of shows and audiences. Situated in the very center of the city, close to Historical Centre and main monuments. It is a landmark building and the home for classy performance. Most greatest artists performed here. Tickets available online and at theatre, but need to buy well in advance. Most times you can buy a drink or a snack during breaks at the Great Hall (Sala Mare). Some parking places during the shows and clean toilets.

Super piese .

I always enjoy going to the theatre here. The place is cozy and elegant, incredibly central (it's on the so called kilometer 0) and quite a cultural option for going out. People started to choose theater for date might much more often than before. Would recommend, but take care when choosing your play. There are many options, with a wide array of subjects and durations.

It was a magical night, refreshing long lost memories and making new ones. Seeing live one of my favorite actors, after 20 years made me realize how fast the time flies ( fugit inreparabile tempus ) A classy location for classic acting. Not to be missed: the shows at Amfiteatru which are taking full advantage of the warm summer nights of Bucharest.
