I found this place through my Google searches looking for authentic Filipino food. I knew I was in the right place when I was greeted by the Pinoy chef. There were Filipino customers eating there as well, which is always a good sign.
More specifically, I had a craving for lumpia and halo halo. Both did not disappoint as they had the traditional ingredients and flavors I had grown to love from my travels.
I did not try any of the rolls or nigri, but I did see many of the regular customers ordering them. So I will definitely give a try on my next visit.
My only negative would be that the seating is rather small. But as a small, family-owned operation, I think it is justified as they are just starting out. I'm definitely willing to support hard-working entrepreneurs. In addition, I think they are doing a good job of keeping the prices fair and competitive for their customers.
Overall, the only Filipino food around, and is definitely special and unique in Romania. I look forward to coming back and trying their lechon (porc) as a self-respecting foodie should when approached with Filipino cuisine. A gem...

While searching for a Filipino restaurant in Bucharest to cater a dinner party, I discovered Sam’s Fusion Cuisine. I decided to place a takeout order, hoping to bring something special to the table.
As someone who’s half Filipino and half Romanian, I’m always eager to introduce my friends to Filipino cuisine. The dishes, a beautiful blend of traditional flavors, brought back nostalgia of my mother’s cooking. My guests were just as impressed, constantly raving about how tasty everything was.
What stood out beyond the delicious food, though, was the warmth and heart behind it. The service was exceptional—Julia and Sam treat their guests like family. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience that made everyone feel connected and appreciated.
Sam’s Fusion Cuisine made my dinner party unforgettable, and I will definitely be back to dine in. Whether you're looking to share the rich, comforting flavors of Filipino cuisine with friends or family, or just want to try something new, this place is a must. Highly...
Read moreOne of my new favorite places in town. A couple tables inside and outside, but give off a very cozy family business vibe. The staff was very friendly and made sure to help you understand what to expect from the menu. The food feels authentic with new types of flavours that I didn't really experience. Fun fact, best sushi that I tried in Bucharest was here. We tried the Tom yum which was really nice, the dumplings with prawns and pork (really interesting but it is an acquired taste), and the adobo with sweet fried pork belly, definitely something unique for me. If you want to just be safe try the sushi but if you want an experience you have plenty of options to try. Forgot about the dessert, coconut creme brulee is worth trying! Definitely...
