Was here with family to have breakfast on a saturday. I really enjoy the food, its really the only reason I come back and bring friends and family with me. But the service and waiters could use some more training on how to operate.
We ordered the breakfast platter which came without simit or butter. Even tho these are mentioned on the menu. I had to call the waitress to the table and ask for butter and simit and she only then notified me that “sorry we dont have simit for today, and we are out of butter” . Hard to believe a turkish kitchen would run out of butter. Nevertheless the lack of whatever a kitchen is missing for the day has to be notified to the customer when they are ordering it. What left me sour the most was when the bill came to the table the waiter Nicusor felt the need to mention how “they didnt add the tip on to the bill and we have the options on the bottom of the bill” since when do you as a restauranteur add tips to your bill by your own liking? Since when did tips become mandatory? And are you that out of touch and shameless to have to mention/ask for it? For this move alone i was willing to not leave a dime but it wouldnt have been fair to the kitchen team. If it wasnt for the great food the kitchen produces, I would have given only two stars. Waiters need training on what...
Read moreI’m so disappointed about that place. I’ve been to Turkey so many times and I love Turkish cuisine. I also like how people are treating you in Turkey - with respect and smile. It’s not applicable in that place in Bucharest.
I didn’t enjoy kebab, the meet was kinda tasteless. My expectations were too high maybe. The desert I couldn’t eat at all, I suppose it’s just not my thing. Soup was good.
I was about to rate it 4 starts, but then the waitress with unhappy and agree face came, what killed my good mood. Learn how to smile and be kind, it’s the must when you work at the restaurant, specifically in Turkish restaurant. Her face was showing how dissatisfied she is with us, with her life and everything around. The way she talked to us was extremely unfriendly, I felt like I don’t want to ask anything...
Read moreWe visited Bucharest during the Orthodox Easter. Most of the shops and restaurants were closed, because of the great Christianity holiday. The Turkish Kitchen restaurant, fortunately, was open and offered us the best service, in a beautiful setting and with great food!!! I personally want to thank Mr. NICUSOR who, besides the excellent service, helped us on which dish to choose, since there were many options on the menu and each of my friends had a different desire in their food. A slight minus of the restaurant, is the small and unfortunately shared bathroom for men...
