Mesopotamia — Restaurant in Bucharest

I would not reccomend this restaurant. From the first moment I stepped in here, the person in charge, Andreea had a rude and patronising attitude. I ve asked for indications how to proceed with my order, as it was my first time accesing their service and she didn’t seem very helpful. She advised me I should have asked for any details when placing the order. I explained that I don’t eat onion and that I would prefer cabbage instead of salad. This was to much to ask apparently. She told me this is not possible as they have a recipe to follow, which seems to be far more important that customer’s preferance. However, I noticed this rude attitude she had was applied on her staff as well, especially foreign one. They seemed to be very intimidated by her approach. They all seemed lovely and hardworking. Food was very average. The wrap was dry and lacked in taste. Price was a lot higher that Dristor Kebap, and it was not worthed. I would never come back to this restaurant ever and I do feel so sorry for the eployees who have to deal with such a horrible...

Very bad service !

When you think that a vegetarian salad should be good and tasty, here is without any taste, plus the staff it is so unprofessional! The salad had NO dressing, no salt, no taste. I when back and asked nicely to add oil, vinegar, salt but they started argue with me that they add it. Even the people in the local started to argue with them to ask them to put what I needed in the salad. It is not ok to act like that with the clients, especially when they are expecting, at least, to have a dressing as all the salads should have for a good taste.

Plus, the staff are so noisy and argue each other, screaming, talking so loud in from of the clients that you cannot even enjoy a few minutes of silence while you are having dinner. So rude! I was totally disappointed by the servicing and the staff! You should improve this in the future, you should train your staff to act polite and help the clients, not arguing with them. Hope this would be a constructive review for you, to change something...

Delicious food and lovely service!

We had a great experience at Mesopotamia in Promenada Mall. The food was very tasty — freshly made, well seasoned, and satisfying. The portion sizes were just right: medium is perfect for children, and the large size is ideal for adults.

Service was fast and efficient, even though the place was quite busy. The staff were super kind, patient, and helpful throughout our visit, which made everything even better.
