We went to Paolo for dinner. The interior is not impressive, it's too simple. The music selection consists of Italian songs, but for some reason they chose the most unsuccessful ones, in my opinion. The project was created by the team behind the success of the previous All Seasons restaurant, an iconic place that has won the love of guests with its combination of taste, attention to detail, and creative presentation. Paolo is a logical continuation of this philosophy, but with an Italian twist and a warm southern temperament. The kitchen is led by Brand Chef Ilya Voronov. There are comments on the dishes. Orzo with scallops is too sour, this taste drowns out the tenderness of the scallops. A good combination of beetroot and goat cheese, this is a proposal from the summer menu. I am no expert, but these guys deserve a Michelin star, if only they would award them in Russia. Maybe next year, for what i hear. The staff couldn't have been more helpful with our many (many!) queries, the food was astoundingly good, I had duck and have never tasted anything like it. Not only is the food some of the best I've ever tasted, but you get an incredible show with it, whether roasting beef at the table or using delightfully excessive amounts of liquid nitrogen to cool down your wine. Just... Go here. Seriously. For something that would have cost £100s we can't have paid more than £20 for three courses plus wines. I can't extol the virtues of this place anywhere near enough to do it...
