Sempre — Restaurant in Tverskoy District

As an Englishman, I see it as my moral obligation to try out the English breakfast in any foreign restaurant I visit. In this fine establishment, I have encountered said meal and decided to try it out. Looking around, I had high hopes for it as the decor was stunning, full lush greenery and pleasant lighting. However, once it arrived I was instantaneously filled with great sorrow. It is with a heavy heart that I declare that, for once, a Moscow restaurant has not matched the high standards of always observed in Russia. The beans: didn’t have any sauce. For an unexplained reason there was a hamburger patty. The bacon: was as pink and raw looking as skin. The hash brown: was nowhere in sight. All in all, I hope my monarch forgives my sin of consuming said breakfast. To cap it all off the most common thing held in high regard by the British when looking for a fine establishment for dining, tea, has been greatly miss done. There were no spoons for sugar. But worst of all, Earl Grey tea has been put into a tea pot for green tea/gykura. My vast vocabulary capabilities fail me in conveying my disappointment in this matter. I strongly hope that the restaurant takes notice and rectifies their mistake post haste.Having said all that, the food was alright, the glasses and mugs were a bit peculiar but gave the restaurant a distinct edge, and the staff were pleasant enough(despite not wanting to iterate a meal for my vegan friend).

Great interior, good service, average food. The good: The interior is quite rustic, like you're in the middle of the woods. There is also a cat in the restaurant which is a huge plus for cat lovers. The service is also good. Our waiter was very energetic and was able to describe and suggest dishes to try. The average: The food though is pretty average. The only dish that I would certainly recommend is the mackerel rilletes. Good combination of fish and pickled vegetables. I heard about this restaurant so we decided to go there with my 5 friends.The exterior is interesting and the ambience is very good.I ordered bruschetti in the begining and i can say maybe the best bruschetti what i tried!!.My friends ordered 'pasta quattro formaggi' which was too very good,tasty,maybe the portion was not so large,but really good)!!.Than i ordered Steak which unfortunately didn't impressed me,it was served and decorated perfect but without taste !!).After some of us had some few different cakes which were also very tasty.I also want to praise the young girl(Dasha) who cares about us).So if you are in moscow you must visit...
