118 SAR for one at lunch. An undersalted Porcini Soup which was originally served with a single truffle mushroom. To the service’s praise, they did bring me a bowl of truffles upon request. Next, the Caesar salad was freezing cold, which is difficult to consume even for iceberg lettuce, and the dressing was excessively creamy and oddly tangy. The management was incredible kind by accepting that it be replaced with a tagliatelle bolognese. That bolognese was incredibly fresh. But, the taste was very poor. It did not feel like fresh, or local meat and ingredients, and the pasta was overly soggy.
I appreciated the presentation but that was expected. A 120 SAR bill was mostly for decor, which was not personally comfortable, but to each their own.
Again, appreciate the service and manager for doing their jobs, and maintaining the norm for a nice interior and presentation. But, for management to send back a dish and servers to bring more of something required is nothing beyond what’s expected from them. But, the food was just really not worth it.

Read moreJamie's used to be our favourite Italian dining up until last year. Tonight, my friend and I had dinner to our disappointment in Al Nakheel Mall.
The menu has changed drastically. It was out of taste, some really tasted funny, Jamie's famous plank also has changed to new menus, all not nice except squid fritters. Even the green olives tastes weird.
The salad came in a very very small serving like a side portion. They changed upon asked.
Beef lasagna has changed the name to beautiful beef lasagna but it looks aesthetically worse than the old menu. The old one came with salad (the same portion that we ordered today separately) and it did not taste any better. I like the old one because it was rich in flavour unlike the new one.
Penne arabiata also has changed in taste. And it was very dry and sad looking. We tasted all kinds of pastas on the old menu and we liked them all.
Even the garlic bread is not nice. The edge texture is more like a rusk than a bread. Even the taste is weird.
We will...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at the most amazing Italian restaurant in town, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere from manager that made me feel right at home.
The food was simply outstanding! Every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The pasta was cooked al dente, the sauces were rich and savory, and the desserts were simply divine. I could tell that the ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, which really made a difference in the taste.
But what really set this restaurant apart was the service. Jamil was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.
Overall, I would highly recommend Jamie Oliver’s to anyone looking for a great Italian meal and exceptional service. It truly is the...
