Brekky — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

As regular guests of Brekky, we've always had a wonderful experience—though, in hindsight, that might have been because the manager was present. Today, on February 9th, we returned, only to find the service had taken an unexpected turn.

First, we noticed an interesting approach to seating—guests who arrived after us (and another woman waiting in line) were somehow given tables before us. A curious new policy, perhaps?

Then, when I tried to place an order right away, without needing to browse the menu, I was informed by a different waiter that this wasn’t possible because “all tables were occupied." Strange.

Finally, while we were waiting for our friend, yet another waitress made an unusual decision—without asking us, she seated a completely random person at our table.

At that point, leaving was the only option. We had always loved this place, but today’s experience left us wondering—has something changed, or was our previous satisfaction just a lucky coincidence? Either way, we’re deeply...

This place is a great spot for brunch.

Not only do the dishes taste amazing, but their presentation is also impressive. Among the items we tried, I particularly enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked well—though the whites could have been slightly less firm. I really loved their Hollandaise sauce, but what truly stood out was the honey mustard spread on the English muffins—it was a brilliant touch that added a unique depth of flavor. The Avo & Benny was also excellent, with the creamy avocado and cheese pairing beautifully.

The coffee was exceptional, and the fresh orange juice might just be the best we’ve had in Belgrade.

The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff making the experience even more enjoyable.

Another big plus for us was that the place is pet-friendly. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to...

We were genuinely excited when Brekky first opened — it felt like a breath of fresh air in the local food scene. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared, the quality was consistent, and everything from the presentation to the flavors was just spot on. We used to come here regularly and enthusiastically recommended it to friends and family.

Unfortunately, our recent visits have been disappointing. The avo & benny, once our absolute favorite, has noticeably changed — the toast lacks the crunch and flavor it used to have, the eggs were fully hard-boiled rather than perfectly poached, and the little touches like pomegranate seeds seem to have disappeared. Even the bread is different 💔💔💔

We truly hope this is just a temporary dip and not a new standard. We’d love to return to the Brekky we once...
