Our first stay at the St. Regis Belgrade was overall very pleasant. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite with a river view, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Breakfast runs from 7 to 11 a.m. and is à la carte. As Marriott Platinum members, we could select breakfast as one of the welcome amenities, with no spending limit and no need to sign a bill. Presentation was lovely, though the quality was average. The croissant tasted supermarket-level, and the latte came from an automatic machine. Service was attentive and friendly. I slightly regretted not visiting a local pekara for a fresh, flaky burek and yogurt instead.
The suite includes butler service, which mainly covers shoe shining, ironing, and luggage assistance. The butler button connects directly to the butler but sometimes answered by front desk, though requests such as coffee or tea are fulfilled by the private dining team and billed at in-room dining prices. I requested a caffeine-free herbal tea one evening, but the tea that arrived tasted quite strong, so I decided not to drink it. I never actually met a butler during my stay, which made the service feel indistinguishable from regular room service.
The room itself was excellent. The Junior Suite was spacious and well designed, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Sava River. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom featured both a separate shower and bathtub, with a full set of high-quality amenities and thick, luxurious towels. Even from the toilet there was a beautiful river view. Turn-down service included a small black pouch containing lip balm, hand cream, and pillow mist. All minibar snacks and soft drinks were complimentary.
The main drawback was the air conditioning. The vent blows directly toward the center of the room, and even on the lowest setting it hit my face while I slept. When the unit turned on and off in automatic mode, it made multiple clicking sounds, which woke me several times until I used earplugs. Staff explained that the noise was normal and could not be adjusted.
The location is not the most convenient for tourists, especially for those who prefer walking or using public transport. However, the hotel sits next to the Galerija mall, which is great for shopping, and the Sava River promenade offers a pleasant spot...
Read moreI can’t say enough about the wonderful time we had at the St. Regis hotel in Belgrade, Serbia. I’m American and have been visiting Eastern Europe for 20 plus years as my husband is Croatian and this hotel by far is one of the best experiences we’ve had world wide. We stayed at the St. Regis Belgrade to celebrate our 20- year wedding anniversary. First of all the staff - Darija, Jelena, Nikoleta, the butler staff, all staff were ALL exceptional and so kind and had many sweet gifts for us to honor our anniversary celebration. Secondly, the location is phenomenal, it’s located in the beautiful building is gorgeous and located on the highly popular Belgrade waterfront district on the Sava River. The views of the river and new Belgrade are stunning, also the hotel is just a short walk from the restaurants, the super nice galerija mall and only 20 minute walk from the city center- please visit city center when staying at the St. Regis! Third- our room, a delux king with Riverview- it was stunning, super clean and not one detail to attention was missed- every detail was luxurious, fresh flowers and welcome sweets were a plus. The bed was extremely comfortable and the deep tub was large enough for my tall husband. Fourth, the food - breakfast at Savant was delicious, they had Serbian favorites as well as traditional breakfast items. I highly recommend the eggs Benedict and Avacado toast - probably the best I’ve had and of course they met my request of traditional American bacon on the side. We sadly didn’t have enough time to visit the spa, but it offers a variety of services and I look forward to trying it when we return! Thank you St. Regis Belgrade for making our anniversary celebration so special, we...
Read moreMy one-night stay at the St Regis Belgrade was nothing short of extraordinary—an experience that will linger in my memory for years to come. This newly built, modern masterpiece exudes sophistication and elegance, and my Grand Deluxe Suite was a revelation: spacious, bathed in natural light, and impeccably designed. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt enveloped in a sense of luxury and tranquility. To my delight, a thoughtful welcome gift awaited me—a charming surprise that set the tone for the exceptional hospitality to follow.
Yet, as stunning as the hotel itself is, what truly elevates the St Regis Belgrade to a realm of its own is its staff—most notably, the remarkable Stanislav. Arriving early in the morning, weary from travel, I was met with warmth and genuine kindness from Stanislav and his colleagues. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a room as soon as possible, transforming what could have been a tiring wait into a seamless and welcoming experience. Throughout my stay, the staff’s attentiveness made me feel not just like a guest, but like royalty—every need anticipated, every interaction infused with care.
Stanislav, in particular, is a shining star whose dedication and grace embody the spirit of this magnificent hotel. He and the entire team are the heartbeat of the St Regis Belgrade, turning a beautiful property into a truly unforgettable sanctuary. This is a place where luxury meets soul, and I cannot...
