Smasher & Co. Belgrade — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

Sorry to say, we didn't really felt seen here. Despite that the place was less than half full. The burgers were juicy, but somewhat tasteless. Lack of salt, pepper and, more important, umami. What seems like a good/normal portion of fries is an illusion. Out of pettiness this restaurant will put paper inside so that the fries only fills half of the cup! And why wrap in tin foil when the burger is served in the restaurant? The buns goes unnecessarily soggy this way. The hand wash basins in the restaurant is a good idea, for both before and after eating, so I don't see the point of handing out a pair of black rubber gloves to every customer. For the price, the taste and the customer service, sadly I can not recommend...

It was FANTASTIC!

After arriving at the Belgrade bus terminal, we were hesitant to try this shop while walking in waterfront area to our hotel. Eventually, we decided to give it a go. I can easily say that the most delicious meal of our 3-day Belgrade trip was here, so we went back again before leaving.

We tried the bacon, authentic, and Tuffi burgers.

Without a doubt, the fries were the highlight—better than the burgers, and all the burgers were great, but the supreme bacon stood out above the rest. The waiter was super kind, and the place was clean.

I definitely recommend it, especially if you're coming to Belgrade by bus.

Orange juice was so bitter and barely drinkable. It was like highly citric lemon. The waiter said it was due to the batch of fruit they got which means they don't select what they get but just serve it anyway. The menu clearly states a coleslaw with the meal which I didn't get so the meal was pretty dry. Along with the acid orange I had to go somewhere and get some normal refreshment after that. Owners (or emploeeys) kids were soud and making a racket around the place so thats all about the atmosphere.. Looking at the business overall it looks all like presentation and very low quality. The waiter was more then pleasant though. Very professional and highly respectable...
