I love and am lucky to have tried different Chinese foods all over the world, including Hong Kong and mainland China. After all the amazing local food in Belgrade, I was craving Asian flavours. “Kung Fu” was close by and had good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. The hot & sour soup was more than encouraging, one of the best ones I had. Next came the spring rolls. This was somewhat of a disappointment, since the rolls were made of local filo pastry, not the proper wrappers. This is unfortunate as you can actually buy Chinese wrappers in Belgrade. The filo (kora) tastes entirely different and soaks up too much oil. I ordered spicy pork and steamed rice for mains. The spicy (Sichuan) pork was neither spicy, nor could you taste any Sichuan pepper. It was also way too oily. Tasted ok, but all in all just not right.
