Bombay Express — Restaurant in Bratislava

This was my second visit and unfortunately probably the last. As much as I was excited after trying this place the first time. Back then, when the place first opened, the meals were the most authentic flavor and spice wise I had so far in Slovakia. The last visit unfortunately not. The chicken tikka masala tasted like someone dumped sugar in it and no other flavor. No more beautiful smell of Lamb vindaloo. The lentil daal was literally flavorless 😭 It’s sad. It‘s actually great that you can have such close to authentic Indian food at an affordable price (I came from Austria) in the middle of a shopping mall in Bratislava. I love returning here if I’m craving Indian cuisine as the food served here is delicious. The chicken in the curries is tender and soft and the portions are good too. I also love that you have a station to wash and clean your hands. The service was good too, the cashier was able to advise us well in English and they did not take long to serve the ordered food. I tried 3 times but every time different quality and taste. First time was the best, We had chicken tilka masala and chicken biryani both was good. Second time two chicken biryani and taste was totally different. Last time we had chicken tikka masala and again totally different taste from first visit. In the menu each food is serving in copper bowl but you receive in different dishes. I asked for a very spicy food but they forgot or only add something on top.
