Quick meal that’ll fill you up immediately. LangoĆĄ is probably one of my favorite street food in Slovakia/Hungary so I had to try this one in StarĂĄ TrĆŸnica. The place is really great for pickup since they only have a couple of standing tables outside the restaurant and not much space inside. My food was prepared super quickly, I waited max 3 minutes and it’s served on a piece of kitchen towel that seems to be a bit thicker than your usual kind so the oil doesn’t just seep through. I got the very simple one with garlic and ketchup. It was super warm, oily in the best possible way and quite fluffy. I’m not an expert on this dish but in my opinion it was a bit undercooked or underdeveloped on the inside. Some parts just felt a bit sticky and not as chewy and airy as a traditional yeasted dough should be. So maybe a bit more proofing or longer cook time would help. Server was incredibly polite 😊 credit cards are accepted and the price is right! Get two of these for just under 7€ and you’ll be set...

Langoơ Bar in Bratislava is the kind of place I just can’t pass by in summer—I love langoơ, and for me it’s a must-have Slovak or Hungarian treat. The spot itself isn’t anything fancy, but it does the job well. You can even choose from different topping combos, though I went for the classic: garlic, cheese, and ketchup—my absolute favorite.

One big plus is that you can pay by card, which is great for such a small shop. You can either stand in front of the bar or sit nearby, and in summer it’s perfect—eating under the trees, with kids playing around and a really positive vibe in the air.

The langoơ itself was good, though a bit on the harder side. Personally, I prefer when it’s a bit softer and easier to eat, but still, it gave me exactly the summer feeling I...

I was a bit surprised to see the negative reviews of Langos Bar, because in my opinion it's one of the best langos I've ever had, and I've tried my fair share throughout Slovakia, Hungary and Eastern Europe.

😁 Pros: Good value for Bratislava at 4.50€ for a sour cream, cheese and garlic langos. Large portion size. Big enough for two people to share. High quality ingredients, including a generous amount of freshly grated cheese. Amazing location in the centre of the city, next door to the old market (open on Saturdays only) and a great brewery. Combine your visit with one of these places. Friendly service, even to foreigners.

😡 Cons: It's not open as often as I'd like.

Anyways give it a shot for a...
