The Old Town Beach — Restaurant in Bratislava

Today, I was a lone traveler in Bratislava. An waitress said I could take any seat, and she would come. I waited for at least 10 minutes to be generous to say. It may have been 15 minutes. I saw an old European couple sit further down from me. The waitress finally came to me, and I asked for help because I couldn't read the menu, which was in Slovak. She brought me an English menu, and I ordered a beer first. She communicated with me in English from the beginning and left me with a menu in Slovak for over 10 minutes? Great job😉 And the same or another waitress was taking an order from the old European couple who had just arrived. My day wasn't ruined because I left before the waitress showed up with a beer🤗 What about my precious time? Having walked for a while, I needed a break anyway. Be extremely careful with this place. The service is not only terrible but they will overcharge you and rob you on your face. I ordered a plate of nuggets which says on the menu that it comes with fries. They charged for the fries apart. My friend who left early paid for his drinks apart. They still charged them to the final bill again. And finally, 5 eur for a deciliter of prosecco?? I had 6 dc in a very doubtful glass and I paid 32 eur. Since when is this Vienna?? And the overcharging is not the worst part. The waitress is totally incompetent. She came 2ice to tell me she forgot my nuggets and if I still wanted them. Finally she brought them but not a fork. We kept ordering water and it never came. Finally she brought a pitcher but not glasses... and our total bill was 92.60. This is...

Slow service. Prices are alright for that area of town. Food did not look appealing. Saw burgers, wraps and fries. Location is good. Closed at 10pm but I gather it stays open longer later in the week/weekend.

Stopped by on a Tuesday evening at 8pm. Place was busy but there were free tables. We went to the top floor (above the bar/kitchen). Not a good location as we were there for 10 min without getting service. We moved to the main floor and got our order within 3 min. Sadly the service was again slow from that point on.
