SEVEN RESTAURANT CAFÉ — Restaurant in Košice

I am a regular visitor of Kosice for almost 20 years and a lover of gastronomy for many more years. Until recently, Gasperov Mlyn (amazing place. Batizovce, close to Poprad) was the only gastro-experience in the central and east region of Slovakia. But, things have changed! Seven restaurant truly is an amazing place. Fantastic location, wonderful staff, ... And the food was really outstanding. Every course ( we tried the 7 course experience) was complex and delicious . Local ingredients prepared with diligence and creativity. Amazing bread choice and excellent sommelier advice. Truly an all-in wonderful experience. I am going to review both the restaurant, and also a Cafe next door which Google does not list, but which is the best Cafe in Kosice. The expression Service with a smile must have been coined here, and why not, it's an amazing location, coffee great, and a day time alternative to Seven Restaurant, which is equally the best restaurant in Kosice. Beautiful design, great food and service. Finally a restaurant in Kosice with European level of service. The degustation menu is creative and definitely worth it. They are very flexible even if you have some allergies/intolerance/pregnancy and adjust to your needs. Be aware that the prices are bit higher than in other restaurants in Kosice but that is understandable considering the level this restaurant aims to achieve.
