Awful service ! Beware of default payment 0.9 eur per person for the napkins and olive oil on the table!
We ordered soup for my wife and pizza for me and were asked if we wanted to get them at the same time, which was nice touch and we said yes. The waitress came with silverware which was dirty and still with some pieces of food on spoon. The soup was then delivered few minutes sooner than pizza, so we didn't even began to eat together. After few minutes my pizza was unfortunately taken by the waiter to the wrong table.. The waiters were changing all the time and it was more than confusing. Thanks to this organization the table behind us even got 2 completely different spaghetti and had to wait for new ones.
After we ate we asked for a check, the waitress told us that we need to pay at the cash-register, which was uncomfortable and weird for the pricey restaurant like this. When I came to register I saw on my bill +1.8 eur of something I did not recognize. I asked about it and was explained that "Coperto" and was told that that's default item per person for napkins and olive oil on the table. The owner was not polite at all and said to me that the olive oil on the table costs 20 euros per bottle and that is why he is charging it and that its normal for Italian restaurants. I never encountered this and it is pretty sad that in the costly restaurant like this one they need to charge customers for oil and napkins.
To say something positive, pizza was delicious which was expected when paying 10e for...
Read moreWe were a group of 12 people having dinner. The food, prepared by an Italian chef, was tasty and clearly inspired by Italian cuisine. However, the overall experience was quite disappointing. The chef, who was also making the pizzas, behaved very unprofessionally — shouting rude and inappropriate comments at guests during the evening.
Because of this, we didn’t feel welcome at all, and the unpleasant atmosphere spoiled what should have been an enjoyable dinner. Italians are usually known for their hospitality, kindness, and warmth, which made this behavior all the more surprising and disappointing.
On a positive note, our waitress was exceptionally kind and professional — her service was one of the few highlights of the evening. Despite the good food and excellent service from her, the overall impression was far from the positive experience we associate with Italian culture. We left and went to another restaurant for dessert. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t choose...
Read moreWe ate here a lunch. We tried the meat soup with tortellini, the tiramisu, the pizza margherita, the pasta with mussels, and the lava cake. Everything was good and freshly made. The pizza was big, the soup also. We got some bread as a welcome food. The waitress was very kind, and the ambient of the restaurant is also nice. It is an Italian restaurant in the Slovakian mountains, and as that it is good as it can! Perfect! Of course you cannot await from it to be like in Italy but you are not in Italy :-) you are in Slovakia. They did not brought us parmigiano but they did brought us a very good cheese. The pastas were very good, and the pizza also. The desserts were amazing! Congrats to the owners! They...
