Reštaurácia Sissi — Restaurant in Vysoké Tatry

The experience started off very well, but unfortunately, the ending was somewhat disappointing. Here's a detailed breakdown of our visit:

Starters and Main Course The starters and main course were excellent and very enjoyable.

Desserts The dessert selection was quite limited compared to what was presented in photos on Google. We ordered the "Kaiserschmarrn" and a dessert called "A Visit to Grandma’s." We also requested paired wines to go with them.

Service Issues with Desserts

The first dessert was served, and more than five minutes later, the Kaiserschmarrn arrived. The drinks didn’t come until after the first dessert had already been finished.

While the drinks were eventually complimentary due to their delay, one of the glasses of wine contained so much sediment it was undrinkable.

Suggestions for Improvement

Bread Service: Bread should remain on the table until dessert is served, rather than being removed after the starters.

Fish Dish (Sturgeon): The dish lacked texture. All the accompaniments (sides, purées, and sauces) were too soft, though the flavors were excellent.

Beef Cheeks: Add more sauce to the dish. Otherwise, it was very well-prepared.

Dessert Service: The same attention given to the starters and main course should be extended to dessert. For instance:

Drinks should arrive before the desserts.

Both desserts should be served at the same time.

End of the Evening At 8:30 PM, the staff informed us we needed to relocate to the bar for tea, as there was apparently a reservation for our table. However, no one arrived until 9:00 PM, and it seemed like they were just preparing the space for breakfast. This abrupt request left a sour note at the end of what was otherwise a great dinner.
