Owner/staff is quite rude. Knows he's your only option so really does not care.
Edit post reply - My issue is we waited patiently for the staff while they sorted things out behind the bar. Clearly seeing we were waiting with bags, rather than informing us to arrange our stuff we were ignored until suddenly he spoke saying to quickly follow him to put our bags. The impression we got was that we were wasting time and leaving his bar unattended so we simply took the essentials of water and sunscreen. Had we been presented with a little less hostility at this point the issue with us coming back later for swimming costumes and towels would not have been had. I understand your reasoning and agree the message was conveyed if unclearly to our group. My low score is because we were tret as an annoyance which when you are charging €20+ for storing bags in the bars back room (with no tag/monitoring system) I think is unfair. If you don't want to uphold the service don't do it and then perhaps the train station will supply a simpler alternative...

Read moreVery friendly and welcoming staff. While the menu is limited, the pizza is superb (I recommend ordering enough to take away and eat cold the next morning). Drinks are a very reasonable price, the atmosphere changes depending on when you go, like most pubs and bars but at no point did I feel unwanted.
One suggestion to the owner regarding food, is that going forward offering a portion of fries or potatoes would definitely be an attractive addition - if the small kitchen allows it of course.
