So I decided to try another Kauai restaurant today outside of my normal one which is Claremont. Tygervalley was today's choice, to see how it compares to the others. So in terms of cleanliness some of the tables were dirty and did not look to have been wiped down. I watched a waiter clean a table of dishes but never returned to give the table a wipe down. So watch out for that. Ordered my standard meal which was poached eggs on rye toast with extra sausage. Noticed one big difference between Claremont's Kauai and Tygervalley's for the same price Tygervalley gives you only one sausage whereas Claremont gives you two. So Claremont is currently better value in the sausage department. The waiters were very friendly and the wait time for the food was not too long about 10 mins. Another important tip is the tellers don't ask if you have the Kauai app so be sure to present it to them else you lose out on the loyalty. Finally again on the clean up as I was leaving it was noted that nobody has come to clear my dishes and I had been sitting at my table for a while with dirty dishes. Overall not a bad experience but not as good as Claremont's Kauai.

I ordered 1x Salted Caramel Smoothie and 1x Plant Peanut Butter Bomb Smoothie (vegan). I specifically purchase the Plant Peanut Butter Bomb because I am allergic to milk proteins — that is the reason I choose the vegan option.
About 5 minutes after drinking it, I began having a severe allergic reaction. I immediately phoned the store, who said they would call me back. Over the next short while, someone phoned 2–3 times to check if I was still okay. By the third call, I was already in the middle of a full-blown reaction and unable to answer — my wife had to take the call.
This strongly suggests that the product I was supplied contained dairy or whey protein, despite being advertised as vegan. This incident incapacitated me for the entire day. It was frightening, dangerous, and a direct result of negligence.
The store took my email for follow-up, but to this day I have received no feedback, no apology, and no accountability.
As someone with a serious allergy who trusted the “vegan” label, this experience was unacceptable. Kauai needs to take urgent steps to ensure product integrity, correct labeling, and staff training — because the consequences for the next customer could...
Read moreReally bad customer service. I always order an an ice coffee or cappuccino from Kauai and it’s always a crushed ice cappuccino. The order was wrong and the woman behind the counter told me that they changed the menu a year ago which I find weird because I was there a month ago with the same order. The more I tried to explain the more she spoke over me. She called a gentleman at the back who told me they changed the menu last month which was April 2022 which confirms what I told the woman. When I told them this is not what I ordered they were not bothered to correct it.
With no solution I told them it’s fine. They can keep the order and I left it on the counter and walked away.
