Atmosphere: The atmosphere was fantastic. The background music was at a perfect volume, allowing for easy conversation without any disturbance—a great spot to catch up with friends.

Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in.

Coffee: I ordered a cappuccino, which was satisfying.

Food: I opted for the salmon and cream cheese with scrambled eggs and hollandaise sauce on a bagel. The dish was beautifully prepared and looked delicious. However, after just three bites, I unfortunately bit into a staple. The staff was extremely apologetic and offered me a free coffee as compensation.

Although I was understandably put off by the incident and declined a replacement meal, I do appreciate their prompt response. I’m hopeful this was a one-off occurrence and plan to give the place another try in the...

I highly recommend Shift Espresso Bar (Willowbridge). Once again the quality of food, presentation and customer service exceeded all my expectations. The staff are very professional and their communication skills are excellent. The owner Litanie Botha was always visible and checking up on customers ,very welcoming. The staff are very accommodating. The manner in which Litanie conducts and runs the business is excellent. She is a good role model to the staff. The quality of the food and the presentation was superb. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and positive. Once again our waitress Charity outdone herself. I recently visited Shift Espresso Bar and had a very disappointing experience. My boyfriends father ordered a bowl of oatmeal, only to find it was undercooked. When I brought this issue to the manager’s attention, I was met with rudeness and complete disinterest.

Instead of addressing my concern, the manager brushed me off and made me feel like my complaint was a nuisance. This lack of customer service and basic courtesy is unacceptable. I had hoped for a positive resolution, but the manager’s attitude only made the situation worse.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Shift given the poor treatment and inadequate response to a simple request for properly cooked food. I hope they take steps to improve their customer service and food quality...
