The coffee and environment were great here, but there is one thing thatās needs to be made absolutely clear to this church congregation. The Bible is very clear from beginning to end. God intended each man to be married to 1 woman. That was his plan from the beginning, and anytime we see otherwise in the Bible, it does not work out well for them in any other scenario. The only exception God made with the Jews during the time of Moses was if your brother dies, and didnāt give his wife a child, then the living brother can give her a child. God is not ok with m+m or f+f. If a teacher of the Bible claims we humans can do whatever we feel is right, and God is not repulsed, then he has lost the truth/gospel, and the Bible is no longer his sovereign...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA hidden gem right in the heart of Cape Town. Heaven Coffee is tucked inside the Central Methodist Church next to Greenmarket Square, which makes the setting truly unique.
The best part: excellent coffee (flat white, cappuccino, hot chocolateā¦), served with genuine warmth by the barista. The atmosphere is special, high ceilings, soft light through the windows, and a calm vibe that feels miles away from the city bustle.
Itās a small spot and the menu is limited to coffee and a few pastries. At busy times, it can get a bit crowded.
Not the place for big meals, but perfect if you want high-quality coffee with soul in a peaceful, unusual location. Definitely...

Coffee smelled lovely & the pastries looked too lovely not to try some. The staff are super friendly and it was sweetly nostalgic to walk into this peaceful reverent space. Pleasantly surprised by all the tourists who had the same idea (dashing in to get out of the rain)šNice bold coffee & yummy flaky pastry, in a sweet little church... truly Heavenly on a rainy Spring...
