Cafe 22 on Oxford — Restaurant in Durbanville

Will unfortunately not be going back there. The service was nice and the food didn't take long at all, but... I got a hair in my food. When I talked to the owner about it they made as if I put it there on purpose...Not only that, but my mother had been there not too long ago and had received a piece of metal from a can in her food and once again the owner had talked to her in a manner that made it as if my mother had put it there on purpose... The staff and waiter was very nice but unfortunately I will not be returning due to the manner in which the owner spoke to my mother and I.

17/12/2024 bad bad .....Absolutely dreadful experience at 22 on Oxford. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the owner, manager, and staff have an inflated sense of their own importance. Cocky, arrogant, and downright rude, they clearly have no concept of basic customer service. It's almost as if they think you're lucky to be eating there, rather than the other way around.

And as for the food? Let’s just say, it couldn’t have been more underwhelming if it tried. Bland, poorly executed, and far from the "fine dining" they seem to think they're offering. Honestly, I've had better meals at fast food joints.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. There are far better options in Durbanville, and trust me, you’re doing yourself a favor by avoiding this overpriced disaster. Save your time, money,...

I have never been treated so badly at a Restaurant ìn all my life! I took my friend out for a birthday treat this morning but it turned out to be so disappointing. The waitress was not interested inserving üs. I had to practically beg for a menu and beg for them to our order. We waited 25 minutes for our food, after enquiring about we waited another 15 minutes. Even the Manageress was not interested in anything, we had to say, she never apologized and just wanted üs to take our food ìn doggy bags and get out.
