Maybe it was just a bad day, but basic things, like one's food, bathroom facilities and Service are usually important to most people at any restaurant.

While waiting about half an hour for someone to help us, we were told by a passing waiter that she couldn't assist us because she was going off duty, but failed to call someone else who could.

The music that was playing wasn't suited to the general crowd, and was basically putting everyone to sleep. Once the "DJ" finished playing, no one put background music on...therefore there was no atmosphere whatsoever.

The Beers ordered were lukewarm....only to be told by the waiter that its because they open the fridge often and that's why they weren't cold.

The Pizza I ordered was ice cold and so was the couple's next to us and insisted it get taken back.

The bathroom facilities were disgusting. No soap in the dispenser and stagnant water in the hand basin.

The couple next to us placed an order, only to discover the waiter bringing their food in a takeaway container.

In a nutshell, we are the locals who support your establishment, please buck up...

A bit too pricey, but then again it's Durbanville. I just feel in the week things should be much cheaper and have more specials than Weekends. Otherwise I loved the vibe..Nice, Classy, Intermate soft spot.. With fireplace and all. Very clean neat and tidy. For me it was just a bit expensive for in the week, specifically for drinks specifically. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Staff should just not pretend to forget to give a customer's change.. Not everyone has R200 to just give away.. When trying to have a nice evening on a budget with friends, and or awesume that when people are dressed classy they are not going to worry about their change.. Should not be expecting a tip at all.... As generosity and consistency is key to what ever God has in store for anyone. Observations is extremely highly important, especially when you see your first time clients just popping in and passing. Personally I love the interior decoration, the vibe is quite chilled, relaxed and matured. Not for people in their 20's-30's.I who love wild parties.I loved it and will gladly recommend the...

I usually love this place. But I had a few issues the last time I went. Firstly the smoking area was non smoking until 8pm Then when it was 8 the bouncer very rudely told me that i'm not allowed to smoke, after which the bouncer and my waiter ended up arguing about whether I'm allowed to smoke or not while my neighbouring table was smoking quite happily. The food is normally quite good, but this time it was a bit of a bad dissapointment, and might have been off as one of us ended up sick later that evening. The other bouncer refused us to leave with our bottle of wine that was half empty, which as far as I understand is general etiquette. So generally I feel insulted by a place that I frequent often enough to know all the waitresses by name. And please keep in mind I'm close Tommy 40s I don't need some big shot bouncer to come show me how to behave myself on my datenight out with the Mrs. I am really so offended I'm considering not...

Always nice if looking for a local place to hang out. This is more of a chill around, pub place than a formal restaurant. Their chicken strips are always a favourite to snack on. I tried their pizza and it was good. Thin crust, it wasn't super crunchy but also not soggy. Oily cheese on top. I prefer my pizzas without cheddar/gouda cheese. But if you prefer your pizzas that way, you'll love it. It goes very well with a drink! Burger was good, different but good. Very rich earthy flavour from ghe cammembert cheese and mushrooms. The vibes are ALWAYS nice there. Everyone is always friendly to everyone and people won't look at you weird if yoy walk up to them and start a conversation. This is the best place to meet people! To all my shy young folks out there looking to make friends, THIS IS THE PLACE!

What a lovely place to relax with friends and family or even host a party. Whether its a birthday party or just pictures of you bridal party after the wedding ceremony (yes we ran in to this in the bar). This place is cozy and staff are friendly and constantly checking up on you to see if youre okay or if you need anything else. Bathrooms are kept clean and that is a big plus! The food is amazing. We were 2 people and we ordered the Tapas Pan Combo and the 2 of us couldnt finish it. The food is filling, it tasts amazing and its made fresh and to your liking. We asked for our steak that came with the Pan to be as rare as possible, and thats what it was. Sealed outside, still blue and very juicy on the inside - my complements to the chef!

Not your typical speak easy you would have found in the 60s, but the atmosphere is close too it. The service is surprisingly well managed for a very busy bar. We had a waitress to our table that checked in quite often, this saved us standing in que at the bar. The drinks pricing is fair for the location and punter talent. If lots of people is not your thing, this is not your hangout. The security is prominent, I like that. We ended up at the bar before closing time. The bar staff was courtious for that early in the morning.
