Many Many Thanks Jamie. I recently had a Large Operation. A friend dropped me of In your parking area and I tried to walk to the FNB ATM around the corner as I lost my Card. Big mistake. Coming back I nearly collapsed and could not walk any Further. I was foulded in half with the pain and could not go forward nor back. I just past the window of the Restaurant next to you that is between yourself and the FNB ATM. Out of the blue Jamie saw me from where I don't know. She came out and around the corner and offered to help me. I was nearly in tears. I thought I was just going to sit down at that moment. At this point I was battling about 20 min and I would say maybe a 100 people or more saw me and just went on or looked at me in my eyes out of the Restaurant and just looked back at there Laptop and made if I was not there. I'm a 50 year old man and had a bad Accident 2 yrs ago and had many medical problems and a Huge Operation 2 weeks ago. This was my 1 st experience of the nature. If I had a R 1 000 cash on me I would have given it to Jamie. Many thanks Young Lady. Believe me I'm suffering due to my Bad Idea I had yesterday. I'm sore like he'll this morning and taken my Heavy meds 2 times this morning. But the short and long I would like to say you have one heck of a Young Lady in your staff that will go Far in her Life. Jamie you don't and will never know what that small thing ment to me after this very very bad 2 Years Young Lady. I can go on and on as words can't explain. Many Many Thnaks Young...

We Came to the store for lunch and cake. 1 ordered fish and chips, 10 minutes later they came back to say there is no fish. They then ordered the schnitzel, it was very bland and under seasoned. We also ordered chicken mayo, 10 minutes later they returned to say they don't have, we then asked for cheese and tomato, they went on to say they dont have ANY toasties, we then settled for a bowl of chips. Another 10 minutes later they return to say they found mayo and they could make the chicken mayo. A bit hesitant we said we trust them, we canceled then the chips for the chicken mayo. It seemed like they found a tiny bit of mayo to mix with chicken, it too was not good, unfortunately. the ratio of chicken and mayo was not good. Lastly we ordered chocolate cake and carrot cake. The chocolate cake tasted as if it was 4 days old, it was extremely dry and dissappointing. I'm not one to give negative reviews but this was really an unpleasant lunch experience for R690... I asked them what do they actually have on the kitchen!? Not...

As someone whom has work in the restaurant industry for many years this coffee shop fails . This is now the third time I have eaten here- unfortunately the food is bad. The first time I had the Mushroom Linguine..It was bland , chewy and gross ( I thought , hey its your fault for ordering pasta at a coffee shop) so I let it slide. The Second time - a toasted chicken sandwich...no flavour a ton of onion and oily bread( Again I thought , they must be busy I will let it slide since I am working here ) . The Third time the Beef Mince Omelette- extremely oily and and not enough butter is given to cover my bread also no Worcestershire for eggs . What coffee shop does not have this ? Staff is average . LAST and the final issue - can we just have coffee in a coffee mug not in a glass? Stop serving in the incorrect items . Not nice holding a hot coffee in a glass with no handle . Such a same as this is a great spot to come and work however sadly I will not...

This was always our go to coffee shop, whether a social visit with friends or after a bike ride. However, over the past 2 years we have seen a DRAMATIC decline in service and quality. Coffee is cold many times. Takes 10 to 15 minutes at time to get it. And this is not once or twice. We visit EVERY SINGLE Friday morning at 7.30am for the past 3 years so we know what has happened first hand. Management on the floor has changed 3 or 4 times but service just gets worse.... AND it has gotten VERY expensive. A small black Americano and a medium cappuccino comes to R80!! Sorry, for that money you have to up your game EDIT : after ANOTHER dismal experience we have now abandoned Bootleggers Durbanville and go to another shop. Cannot support them anymore. We tried for THREE YEARS....

The outdoor seating is lovely on a warm day, with some nice shade and cover from the wind. It's also quiter outside without the noise of the coffee machines. I had wanted to order a milkshake, but they'd run out of ice-cream, though they were expecting a delivery soon. So I decided on an iced mocha instead, which was delicious. To eat, I had the Buttermilk Flapjack Stack with bacon - it was so good and beautifully presented, and a very decent portion size (I couldn’t finish it). The servers were friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere was nice and chilled.

Visited this branch for brekkie. Upon arriving, it was completely full. The waiter did tell us there will be a 15 to 30min wait. We said its fine. Ordered our drinks, it arrived luke warm, we did not want to complain. When our food came, we asked the waiter to warm up our drinks and we dived into our food, only to find out the food was ice cold as well, my melted cheese was hard. The drinks were hot though, enjoyed it second time.
