Only one problem tonight. When we went to our vehicles we had to pass the pub on the corner by the entrance and exit booms. There were cigarette butts all over the pavement and brick driveways. The smell of smoke around the entrance to the pub and public verander was absolutely disgusting. It actually turned our stomachs and ruined the otherwise super evening we had enjoyed with friends. Apart from being illegal the management of the centre should take this business to task. Why should a few inconsiderate customers be allowed by the management of the pub to upset the evening of other customers from the other restaurants. It is also illegal to have cigarettes butts left on the ground and such a strong smell of cigarettes on a public area. My daughter went to meet friends for dinner at Village Square last month, and after getting out of her car in the underground parking was confronted by an aggressive male who (one would hope) was not a customer, but had walked in off the street. He told her in no uncertain terms that he wanted food.
