Hungry Lion Durbanville Town Centre — Restaurant in Durbanville

One of those possibly one star service occasions. After giving my order to another customer I had to listen to employees shouting at each other for a full 10 min.

I went to sit down at filthy table with left overs and open half bread waiting. When asked 10 min later I was abruptly told "wait, we will make you a burger" by Mully as she turned and walked away.

I am almost sure that the owner of this franchise is one that pops in once a month for an announced visit.

The concept of service and commin courtacy isn't lacking, it's none existing and when nobody visits your shop, smiling at rent collector will be too late.

I will not go there again, not even for a free meal. Surely not...

If I could rate them a 0, I would. Today 20 Dec 2023 is the third time my meal was given without a mini loaf as ordered and paid for. The first two times i just left it, but they get the money. Today same thing happened. It is so annoying when you pay for items and get to the office to find not everything you paid for is not in your bag. Management need to drastically work on their staff's competencies as clearly their organizational skills including listening skills level is not where it's supposed to for the industry. Overall experience, absolutely terrible. I got take away. It took then 30 mins to get my order after everyone had left who ordered after me.

I got to the car and realized I didn't get my coleslaw, my wings or my cooldrink. Went back inside only to be told I have to wait because they need to make coleslaw. Spoke to the manager who doesn't even utter a word back to me.

Terrible service from the manager and from the staff. Wouldn't recommend this branch to anyone. Can't believe I have to wait over 30 mins for a order I was told 5 minutes for.
