Went there on a first date, and it was also my first time at any Panarottis restaurant. All I have to say is this. The waitress first welcomed us with a great heart and showed is our table. Then she told us she would give us a few minutes to decide on our drinks, she left and only came back 5 min later, she took our drink order and before we told her what our food order she dissappeared very quickly. Then she came with drinks and we told her we wanted the Thursday special, she told us the special only starts at 5 o'clock, one thing if you should know about proper advertisement, is that you should inform what time the special is on, because if you going to say it's a Thursday special, the costumer will automatically expect that the special will run the whole day, not only a few hours of the day. After that we asked for a few minutes so that we could have another look at the menu, since our lunch hopes were "destroyed".
After that, she dissappeared for about 15 min and went to stand outside talking to her friends, this is unacceptable, usually it doesn't take this long for a waitress to come take down your order.
Then, when she took order, the food took such a long time to be prepared. After we were done, we looked for our waitress and again she spent minutes talking to her friends outside, we waited another 10 min until she noticed that we were done.
I've never waited such a long time to get some service and my friends warned that this place has slow service.
On the other side, your pizzas are overpriced, I've been to other restaurants where I paid cheaper and gotten better service than this place.

I’m writing to express my disappointment following a very unpleasant experience at your Greenstone branch on 29 May. We had made a booking to celebrate my mother’s birthday, a special occasion that unfortunately did not meet our expectations due to poor service and lack of attention to detail.
Upon arrival, we waited an unusually long time for our drinks and pizza, and had to follow up with the manager. While the manager did take the cake to be stored in the fridge, the surprise for my mother was not handled appropriately.
When we requested Patience (our server) to bring out the cake after our meal, it was brought out in a closed box with the candles left inside rather than presented properly. We had clearly asked for the cake to be brought out without the box even if just on its own to create a special moment. What was meant to be a surprise turned into an awkward and disappointing situation, especially in front of our mother.
We didn’t even get to cut the cake at the restaurant and ended up taking it home. This completely undermined the celebration and left us feeling very let down.
This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a birthday booking. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve service and staff training for...
Read moreIt was the worst experience I have ever had. My friends and I go to Panarottis of a Tuesday with my boyfriend as our weekly get together however every time we go there is always an issue. We have had chicken bones in our pizza twice, a tooth in our biltong and boerie pizza and now last night my pizza didn't have a base in the middle. I have a mexicana and the topping was nice but the base was Raw and non-existing in the middle. There was a huge hole in the middle of my pizza. What the hell is pizza with no base. When they brought me a new pizza it was so thin that it was falling to pieces all my friends had the same issue and a normally regular sized pizza was not filling and thin that we have sworn to never return to a panarottis again. We had even ordered a starter and thankfully we did because we were all still hungry after our food.
