Golden Falcon Spur — Restaurant in Gauteng

I hosted my daughter’s 1st party at spur in Golden falcon spur on Saturday the 25th, l booked the place for 15 people but when I got there they were no table for me and my guest. I had to wait for a very long time to be given a table that was not even enough for my guest. I sent the spur set menu to print for my guest, they promised to and never did nor even apologies for not doing that. Terrible customer service they have. 2nd my balloons flew to the casino roof, as we been waiting too long outside to get the tables in spur. I asked for help from Spur and never got any help from them. I had to seek help somewhere else, and the maintenance promised to take them out at night and which I will get in the morning, and Spur promised that they will call me to come and collect them. I called spur in the morning and I was asked what the fuss about balloons  which I have spent R400 to buy them and they hang up on me. I tried to call back and no one answered my call. I had a very bad experience with them. 3rd there service was too poor, our food took forever to come, my people were not given cutlery to eat, they had to use their own hands to eat imagine, the waiter forgot some of our orders and we had to remind him. I had the worst experience ever. Party packs for kids came when I was leaving and just because I had to beg them to bring them, I felt it was very terrible as I was paying for everything and I have been treated like I wasn’t paying for anything. Usually, it is a great place for dining and entertainment for kids. Last night, only the kids enjoyed. Maybe the waitress was not up to giving us the service we deserved. She would be attending other tables promptly, and when we needed her, we had to wait for long periods of time before she would come to our table. Even the manager would go to other tables to ask if they were fine, but stare at us and just pass by without asking. When we wanted to pay, at one point, the waitress was sitting at a table for over three minutes. When we were for the bill, we had to stop her because she had no intentions of coming to our table. What made my experience extremely terrible. When we were paying, she uttered something to her colleagues, they turned around, looked at us, and laughed loudly. With the little non-verbal communication that I know, whatever that was said was not nice. It felt I was a charity case or had won the meal for my family and I was not going to pay the service. It was like they, the waitress and manager, were doing us a favor by having us in their establishment and we had to be grateful to be in...

I visited Golden Falcon Spur with my family. We were assisted by a trainee. He firstly took our order but he didnt write it down. He later brought me cold water when i requested hot water with lemon. He then had to go back to get my hot water. I didnt mind cos i thought it was an honest mistake. The trainee waiter then brought my daughter and husbands food. He brought me my wings and i waited for my salad. After waiting 30 minutes for my salad, he brings me a small portion but i ordered a full portion. He had to take it back and i had to wait another 15 minutes. By this time i had lost my appetite and he was not even apologising for all this. The last straw was when he eventually brought my salad and i asked for a take-away package because i was not hungry anymore. The waiter just laughed at me and brought me a box that they do not use to package salads. I asked another waitress to please bring me a proper box to put my salad in.
