We loved this Restaurant. From crazy theme park rides to this amazing restaurant serving massive burgers on pink rolls and the best wood oven pizza. Packed with cheddar mozzerella feta served with fries made with 100 percent beef burger patties this was a 10 out of 10. Delicious gourmet milkshakes, my wife had the chicken burger. 50s style diner and a seating booth made from a car. Highly recommended. Situated at Gold Reef City theme park. Set inside the nostalgic theme park @goldreefcitysa this 1950s fun diner @oldees.diner_pizzeria is bringing back that Doo Wops and Rock n Roll vibe! My favourite part? The food ofcourse! 😝 From burgers and pizzas to loaded fries and hotdogs… (also a pink burger roll💗 lol) & you can pair this with a drink, alcoholic or none or one of their tasty looking gourmet milkshakes! The atmosphere is thrilling because of the old school pastel bright aesthetic & the staff and owner were really cool and welcoming! 👌🏻 🎀 Definitely going back here because I love a good vintage moment! 🥹🫶🏻 #AlwaysAiesha

Gold Reef City’s March Sunday deal had Oldees as a food choice with a voucher for either burgers or pizza for family of 4. Due to the rain, most people flocked for cover which caused the eating places to be packed. After quite a wait the host managed a table for us but cautioned that they are at capacity for pizzas so burgers would be quicker when we opted for. I absolute love the look of Oldees as it beings the charm of an old school American diner with the menu, decor and vibe all showcasing & carrying the theme brilliantly. Definitely a must visit especially if less busier.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement... Getting into the diner, the staff paid no attention to us, we eventually had to check our selves in with that covid form. Then the waiters took forever to get us drinks, and the food took over an hour to get there (and all we ordered was just burgers). In the time between drinks and getting our food, the waiter never came to check on us, our drinks finished and we couldn't get refilled. Anyway when the burgers finally got there, they were impossibly dry and the buns weren't even fresh. The waiter still never checked on us... Till we had to leave and find them so that we could pay. The place wasn't even busy to justify the slow service... I wouldn't recommend anyone...

I am a chef and to be quite honest the whole experience was a disgrace. Firstly, we wait 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken. Then another 20 minutes for the food order to be taken. Wait another 20 to 30 minutes for the food to arrive and In all honesty the food was an insult to my mouth. Burger was dry, bun was stale and the garnish was almost non existent (small piece of iceberg lettuce with a thick slice of unseasoned tomato with fresh cucumber). The pizza was edible at best but the base was undercooked and tasted more like a flat scone than an actual pizza base. Terrible experience. Not sure what the problem is but you can't charge people for...

Came here today after some theme park rides and service was great,however the food was either a hit or a miss,our table ordered the prego roll(flavour was really good and chips soft and crispy,only con was the steak was overcooked and hard to chew),cheese and tomato sandwich(nothing wrong with the sandwich as it was just perfect)and the chicken burger(chicken was overcooked and dry however the spices they used on it was seasoned well and the chips was really good as well...I would say it would depend on what is ordered as some items are a complete miss but some are really good as well,their milkshakes are really delicious as well so I highly reccomend...
