Good evening I am very dissatisfied with your service. I usually go have a meal there with my family but recently service has been terrible regarding the meal. The last time I've visited it was a busy day and it seems like on your busy days customer service is not important at all. We ordered the 2 platter for one it was so disappointing the fish was a sml piece of fish kalamari heads were so small and the prawns were the smallest prawns I've ever seen we just had our meal and did not say anything. Today we visit your restaurant again it took your waiter almost 45 Min to bring our food. We ordered drinks in the mean time had to run around the restaurant looking for the waiter as she didn't bring the soft drinks. The food eventually came excluding my sons meal I had to sit and share my meal with him becuase he was hungry. The bread came after a Half hour I don't even think u can call it bread it was hard as a rock. What did your chef not have any yeast so the bread could rise. We complained about the bread and we were told that they will bring better bread which only came after we finished our meal(still the same fallen down hard as rock) My fish was fried brown almost as if it was fried in dirty oil. Or Maibe fried 3_4 time disgusting. My sister ordered sushi had to run around looking for the soy sauce. The manager and the waiter had no respect for us at all. Smiling and talking to each other. Must have said we were difficult customers.. Just my thort. I was disgusted with your service because the manager brought the bread after we were Packed and ready to go in a plate Mr manager were we suppose to sit and eat that dry bread after our meal was finished. Very very...

The worst most horrific service l have ever received ever.l went in with my mom for lunch They ignored us for almost 20 minutes while serving people that came after us. They gave us 3 rolls and 2 butters between us after we had to ask why the food was taking so long and asked for the rolls to at least put something in our stomachs

When the food finally came there was a piece of hair on the hair and l called the lady and she said l was being dramatic and that it was a piece of cloth. My mom is a BP patient so we couldn’t exactly leave to go look for somewhere else as we had just come from shopping. I requested a new platter and that room so long as well and almost an hour later from the time of arrival rival we finally had food and there was still a piece of dirt and she claimed that it was from the fish itself. We finished eating and we’re still ignored for a long while and when we requested the bill it came without the mints. We paid and l asked for the mints and the horrible waitress gave us one each after we had to ask twice. Mind you we just had fish and need to have the mints to try and freshen our breaths.

I have never had such a horrible experience in a restaurant their service is appalling and disgusting. I would not recommend this palace to my worst enemy and even if it was the last place l will gladly die before l ever eat at that place ever again. Appalling indeed

Honestly had the worst experience at Ocean Basket Gold Reef; besides waiting over 45 minutes for food, the food served was cold, oily and tasted unpleasant.

I had requested to speak to the manager about the condition of the potato rosti that was served to me (after passing it around the table for my friends to taste, just to be sure I wasn't the only one finiding fault) he had stated that "it is a greek starter that is tricky to make and wouldn't reccomend it" and went on to try and convince me that due to my ethnicity I may not be used to consuming Mediterranean cuisine; it is my humble opinion that a customer should not be treated this way and ethnicity is no excuse for serving food that is below par with other branches of the same franchise. I urged that he take it up with the kitchen to which he obliged and returned to say that it in fact was not made correctly while offering to replace the starter.

Later that evening each of us that had eaten from the potato rosti experienced severe vomiting and diarrhoea.

Will definitely not be returning to this branch or any ocean basket...
